  Not much going for it

  We booked this hotel based on its proximity to Universal Studios Japan - unfortunately, it was inconvenient as USJ was only accessible by another train station. While the room was clean, the bedding was uncomfortable. The lack of an elevator was also a pain point. On the bright side, the cooking facilities and pots/pans was helpful. Tips: The hotel is only accessible via JR trains - having a JR pass would be useful.

  Tiny room but handy to USJ

  We visited as a family of four. One train stop from USJ which is handy. No restaurants around so if you don't feel like taking a train (one stop) to find food then best you take some with you. The room was tiny - two double beds pushed together filled it almost completely. No lift so lugging suitcases up stairs wasn't ideal. However the location is very good for visiting USJ. But apart from that this place doesn't have a huge amount going for it. But if you plan to just sleep there it's satisfactory.

  Loved it here, even though rooms were small.

  Universal Hotel Gloire is a much less expensive hotel and the location was amazing. The rooms felt super homely, I loved it. They compensated the smaller rooms with the most amenities I've ever seen. They had a full kitchen and bowls, plates, utensils, and other stationery. The Toilet was nice and open with a separate showering room. The little basket was very cute and super nice. 11/10, They really try their best to give you a good experience.

  Yes it's small get over it.

  Regarding other reviews Yes it's small get over it. It is very cosy. Very clean and close to Universal Studios. We went as a couple and did fit in everything with luggage etc. We saw the other review and yes it is small, but not unbearably so. You get what you pay for this close to USJ. It is SUPERBLY clean and I could live here much comfortably than anywhere else in Japan, Hong Kong or any other major city.
