  Great location, very comfortable

  I stayed at this hotel on a tour and found it to be very comfortable and clean. The location was great for the city centre and either within walking distance or easily accessible by a bus to most of the major tourist attractions. The Muslim Quarter was within walking distance and the drum and bell tower could all be walked to within 30 mins. Our wifi didn't work in the room but reception happily gave us a new one and the problem was fixed. I didn't have the breakfast as I was told it was basic and cost extra but everything else was great. Cheap washing from external people if you need clothes washed

  Dated, in need of a refurbishment. Good location.

  Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a trip around China. The hotel is well located, within walking distance of the main square with bell/ drum towers etc. But the hotel is dated, eg some of the carpets are a bit threadbear and the lock on the door was stiff. Old bulky tv in the room. Its in need of a thorough refurbishment.

  Needs a good clean

  Room is a good size and quite bright but its grimy and needs a very good clean. Wardrobe doors were missing and woodwork scratched and dented. It was almost 30 degrees but they refused to turn the air con on so sleeping was uncomfortable. The noise starts outside at 6am and the windows are not double glazed. Slippers and dressing gown provided but no spoons to make drinks. The towels are grey and thin. Room wasnt serviced properly and they allow smoking in the rooms which is disgusting and should never be allowed in a hotel. It's a good location and a 5 min walk of the shops and main street.

  Not great!

  Stayed here for two nights with a small group tour. Located in the heart of Xi'an, but it is a poorly kept hotel with staff who need training in customer service. My room was spacious but had filthy windows and carpet. Black mould was apparent in the shower. The linen and surfaces were clean. The night I arrived was stifling and no AC available. Next night was chilly, with no heating either. But breakfast was inedible and staff unhelpful. The restaurant in the lobby was closed while I was there. Definitely NOT recommended.

  Poor Quality Service and Appalling Breakfast

  We visited this hotel as part of a tour. The rooms were very dated and the cleaniness was at the low end of acceptable; we had a wardrobe doors missing, carpet was past if best as were the towels. Breakfast was terrible, there were no lights, partially warm food (food heaters not on), coffee was in a paper cup, staff not service orientated and the tables had layers of plastic sheets on which presumably enabled the staff to do a magic trick at the end clean the tables in a flash. The reception had astrong smell of toilets around the lift area. Apart from that the location was good.
