  Very Surprised

  Having never been to Canberra before, I wasnt sure what to expect. And staying on Campus with University students during O Week, I definitely had low expectations. But Canberra is so lovely and so bushy for a capital City! And the University campus is the same! There was even kangaroos I could see from my window!! The room, a one bedroom apartment, was so spacious. Large shower, plenty or storage in the bedroom. If I closed my windows the Uni natives werent even an issue!!! A visit to Parliament House & the Australian War Memorial made for a memorable visit. And all only 20 minutes away.

  Stay away from this property

  The property is dirty and smells, the staff are unfriendly. Students were having a party with loud music near by till 12am, the night manager told me to put up with it, as you staying in a university.

  Best value for money in Canberra - and kangaroos feeding at dawn and dusk

  This was the cheapest short term accommodation I could find in Canberra at short notice. I was bowled over. Best value for money I have ever had in accommodation. It is unversity accommodation, so I was under no illusion. But the short stay accommodation is amazing. The rooms, while basic, are spacious. the bathrooms are very modern and the cooking facilities excellent. The single bedroom has a huge desk and I was able to set up my desktop and work remotely. Perfect business set up. And every morning and at dusk I watched the kangaroos feeding on the hill - they were less than 50 metres away. The reception staff could not have been more helpful (particularly after I lost my parking and room access three times) I cannot fault this accommodation. It is budget accommodation that is perfect for people like me visiting friends in Canberra - and working remotely. I don't understand the negative comments because it is a university accommodation and surpasses all expectations.

  Not Great, My apartment didn't look like the photos

  I found the standard of living pretty poor. It's probably a step up from a shelter to be honest, and you have to pay for it. If you want to move rooms or leave you'll have to pay a lot. The security and student reps are good. Anyway I'm glad I'm out of there.

  Poor bedroom and poor facilities.

  Very poor bedroom. Springs almost poking through mattress. When u open the door to the bedroom you almost stumble over the bed thats literally 2 steps into the room right behind the door. No real kitchen cooking utensils. Basic supply of utensils. And pots and pans didnt have matching lids and some had handles missing. Very thin walls could hear everything happening in the kitchen. Shower head was so strong you nearly got driven into the opposite wall from the pressure of the water. Only one toilet in the ground floor. No second blanket for a colder night. Heater doesnt work. Dont even get a bar fridge in the room. Wont be staying here again.
