Average hotel with nice sea view

Took my parents here for a couple of night's stay with my husband and kids and were somewhat disapointed. The hotel and rooms are dated, the design blah. We booked special "suite" rooms with private bath which were expensive but again, average. The service and food were excelent, and the quiet location perfect for us as we just needed to relax, but not much to do around. There are plenty of better, cheaper options around.

    Japan remote and authentic

We were invited here by our Japanese friend and we were the only "long noses". The clear assets of this pricey place are the onsen/thermal baths, also in every room , the great Japanese dinner (be open to dancing abalone, the famous and gigantic local crabs, etc.) and the very friendly and supportive staff. Great view on Fuji-san from some bath rooms and from the village. Rooms are mediocre, nothing special, even a bit old. Weak English skills, but 2 young people are working on this and we got everything we wanted. Only Japanese style breakfast - not ours, but this is our problem. Free-of-charge coffee from a Swiss Jura machine until 09.15 am.

    Very nice

Enjoyed the stay. Stayed with my wife and her mother. The room is big enough with 2beds and a Futon. As my room was on the 5th floor, the ocean view was gorgeous. The main event for us was the dinner. So rich and tasty. 200% satisfied. The breakfast was also good. If you can afford it, this can be a very good choice.

Walk along Nearby Mihama Cape Is Nice

We stayed at the Isaba Hotel in the Heda Hot Spring Area. Very good tea (Shizuoka is famous for tea) and Herseys Kiss Chocolate welcome you. 5th floor, where our room is located, was renovated about three years ago. You can reserve one of four private open-air baths. Shine of Sunset at the northwest corner has got the best view of Mt. Fuji and the sunset. The best time is the sunset, but it is more likely for you to see Mt. Fuji in the morning. Takaashigani (Spider Crab) Worlds Largest Crab was featured in the dinner but it tastes so-so. It is really a nice walk along the Mihama Cape nearby.

    Good sunset view

This is a average onsen hotel with a good sunset view facing Mount Fuji. The dinner highlight is the spider crab. Fresh and tasty. Some rooms have a private onsen facing the sea, that is, facing the sunset. Those rooms with no onsen have a small shower area. This is a place for the sunset view and spider crab.
