  Clean and affordable hotel in the the center of Taunggyi

  I stayed at UCT for 3 nights on the business trip to Taunggyi. It's a perfectly decent place to stay in the center of the city, though don't expect luxurious accommodations here. The nearby "My House Restaurant" has good Thai food and is worth a visit. Liked: -Impeccably clean -Plenty of hot water -Very good service Disliked: -Breakfast options were limited -Some problems with the internet -A bit noisy as the walls are fairly thin

  good value for money spacious room

  stayed here for 2 nights for first visit to Taunggyi. Chose this hotel because it was very close to my work place. I was given a room with a balcony which faced the main street. It offered a good view. However, as the window and door are not sound proof, it was noisy. Overall, the breakfast at the top floor was good, room was spacious and it was value for money.

  Wonderful Experience!

  It was a very pleasant stay. From the airport pickup until the airport drop off, excellent service was provided by the whole staff. The manageress was simply amazing, booking, planning via email was done and she was very professional & efficient. The rooms were lovely with a beautiful view from the 5th floor. Spacious rooms and clean, everything was meticulous. They serve an awesome breakfast that can be compared to any 3 or 4-star hotels in the world. Our overall experience was way above our expectations. Hoping to visit the hotel next year for a longer period.

  Nice Location, Co operative staff ,Good room

  I stay here with my family.. Nice Location, Good Dinning area, Verity of Breakfast , Co operative Staff, Very nice House keeping .. My parents catch cold and they shivering,, housekeeping staff within a call come and put heater , provide extra blankets.... As we are pure vegetarian they provide veg chazan on request..

  An Enjoyable Stay

  I stayed seven nights at this hotel. The location, on the main street in the city, just a short walk from the centre, is very convenient. My room was spacious, well furnished and comfortable. It had good wifi, satellite TV with one English news channel, tea/coffee making facilities and a decent work space. The bathroom is a little basic and the shower lacks pressure but there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast is quite good and the chef made delicious pancakes for me which were much appreciated. The staff is delightful and helpful, and many speak English. Overall, I was very happy with my stay at the hotel relative to the price charged and will happily stay there again.
