  Nice place, fine coffee

  We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are spacious and clean. People already had mentioned the placement of the airconditioning, pull up the sheets and sleep well. A cross the street is a mookata restaurant. Where we had a nice barbecue meal. Overal, we enjoyed our at U dee and Kachanaburi. I hope you wil enjoy you're stay as wel.

  Great value for money

  We stayed at U Dee for two nights, and had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean, great AC and there were free croissants and tea & coffee for guests. The location is close to restaurants and bars and only a 15 minute walk to the night markets. The staff held our bags after we checked out and also called a tuk tuk to take us to the bus station. Good value for the price paid!

  A nice place

  We booked the in here for 2 nights and extended to 4. Its comfortable and clean, good value for the money. Staff are pleasant and willing to help. You can tell the effort they have put in to make the front rooms that face the road quiet. In the morning there is free coffee and a snack downstairs by the entrance. It's close to most things to make them walkable. We found some good eating places close by and rented mountain bikes from Sawitree which was 500m towards the bridge, these were great and their scooters look good as well. We would stay at U Dee if back in Kanchanaburi again. Our rating is based on a guesthouse.

  Lovely room

  We were checked in before the check in time without any problems, the room was very spacious, bathroom was like a wet room as there was no separation from the shower but this wasn't too bad. We had a balcony with a view on to the street, it was with windows but this wasn't an issue as we could stop any creepy crawlies joining us. Hotel is in a great location, close to many of the sites. We were able to extend our stay very easily and for the same price we had paid for the previous nights, very pleasing stay.

  Another TA gem

  I wish I had stayed in Kanchananburi longer. Such a lovely town. And U Dee was the perfect spot. Walking distance to restaurants and bars, and a short tuk tuk to anywhere else. That room was clean, quiet, with a monster bed and great air con. And the cafe makes a mean iced coffee as a bonus!
