  Peaceful

  We had an enjoyable one night stay. We were in waterfront cabin and it was just beautiful being right on the water. We found the staff and other visitors / residents to be friendly. It was quiet and peaceful due to time of year. Only issue we had was it was very chilly and some extra blankets in the cabin would be handy. We left the air con on all night to stay warm. the pillows were very thin. But we slept well and would stay again. Beach is easy 5 min walk across the road. Come prepared with food etc as there is nothing walking distance. We had a lovely brunch at glass onion Society.

  Serenity!

  Stayed in a waterfront cabin and all I can say is WOW! The lake is literally at your doorstep and is an abundance of birdlife just floating by. The staff are amazing, especially Sue who always has a smile and went above and beyond. Just the escape I needed and will be back as soon as possible. Thanks guys!!

  Awesome lakeside cabin!

  This place is good value for money. Yes its nothing fancy but Its clean, staff friendly, good facilities and a stunning view of the lake from your balcony. 5 mins walk across the road to a gorgeous beach and easy drive into town. Dog friendly also!!

  It was just like the photos. Our cabin really was on the lakes edge. Stunning views, pelicans, ducks, friendly staff, jolly fellow cabin-ers, dogs welcome: it was greatright up to when they put the Dynamic Lifter down: not just a little, either, they put heaps down. There was no going on the balcony after thatit reeked of chook poo and we were forced indoors. Thats when we noticed that the cabin was a little run down and shabby. A pity really because I thought the place had a lot going for it; wouldnt take much to turn these cabins into something quite special. But when you travel with a pet, you get used to accommodation being a bit down market. Even if youre willing to pay more. BTW: Should you be spreading fertiliser that close to a waterway?

  Horrible experience

  It was very hot when we arrived, air con wasnt working well, staff came and housed off dirty screen from the air con and said, that should be right now! Pool was crowded with rude, aggressive people. Immediately felt unwelcome. Pool was cloudy and disgusting. Cabin was right next to busy road and bins and there was a hole in the wall. Very old and shabby, run down, couch cushion looked that had been checked on by rats. Cabins badly in need of updates. Booked for 3 adults and 2 kids, uncomfortable pull out lounge offered as option for 3rd adult. 2 campers outside our cabin screamed at our kids for annoying they dog while they were playing outside! BBQs were left filthy after use, we had to clean. Very unfriendly, unwelcoming, never again
