Convenient and clean ...We stayed for only one night. Being only 30 minutes drive from Izumo Airport - we had rented a car - Twin Leaves had plenty of parking available (& it was very cheap at 300 yen per night - most places charge 1000 yen). The Times Square Park also has car rental available. (The hotel offers 10% off for those staying at the hotel.) It's also conveniently located, being right above the train station for Izumo City Station. The rooms are fairly small but, clean. The room has a fridge, TV, trouser press etc., all of the regular equipment for a Japanese hotel. It also offers tea making facilities (electric kettle) - but, only has Japanese tea cups or glasses, no mugs. The beds are very good - not too hard nor too soft (I think they're Simmons or Sealy beds). If you don't mind sleeping in 2 beds, then the "twin rooms" are slightly bigger than the "double room" ... a little more space to move around. The breakfast is your typical Japanese-western style, although they didn't have just regular bread (to toast), only small rolls & croissants ... and there isn't a lot of salad nor fruit to choose from (maybe because it was winter ???) The quality and quantity was fairly good. A few of the staff can speak some English ...

TOO BADI stayed at this hotel on the end of November 2016. Unfortunately I left my iPhone in my room. I called soon after I noticed, but they could not find my iPhone. I called to the hotel man sometimes because I could know that my iPhone was in my hotel room according to its GPS. Finally I had to buy new iPhone as I really need to call with my business. Almost Ten days later, the hotel person found my iPhone in my hotel room. I was very MAD to hear that today. DO THEY CLEAN UP our room everyday???? I will NEVER stay at this hotel.

Good but...My first time in Japan, so maybe my review is not so fittingly. In my opinion rooms are too small and is missing a wardrobe, but maybe this is typical japanese standard. Anyway good hotel and good people and good service, just their level of English is very low and internet connection free but toooooooo slow!

Not too bad, but could be betterThe hotel interiors are not too old or shabby, the place is clean. Unfortunately there was only one single cushion and of the Japanese type, that is with a filling made of hard plastic balls or something like that. Maybe Japanese people think it's a plus, but personally I need something soft and more than one cushion. I'm sure that can be arranged, but I just had five minutes to leave my luggage and had to be somewhere else, when I came back and realized it was too late to put on something and go down to the reception or call and wait for someone to bring me another soft cushion. Breakfast: well...not really great, actually quite under standard for westeners, but even the "wafu" (Japanese style) food wans't that fabolous. It's probably the best that Izumo has to offer, as the rest of the town is in dire need for some revitalization project, although just ourside the city, the landscape is beatiful.

Convenient locationTwin Leaves Hotel Izumo is conveniently located next to JR Izumo Station. We took the airport bus to the station and the hotels is very close to the bus stop. The room is (relatively) spacious and clean. Wi-Fi was good. The breakfast buffet was changed to individual tray of assorted items but it was too much food for me. But there is little flexibility so I had to leave half of the food. Coffee machine was broken one morning. The view from the room was a parking lot. They sell this local water for 100 yen at the front desk. Everything closes quite early at Izumo so theres not much to do around the station in the evening. But all in all it was an enjoyable stay and Id stay there again given the opportunity.
