the only plus point is.. near Tunjungan Plaza
at 8th floor.. receptionist was not friendly, where is the hospitality that hotel should have, come out from elevator.. 8th floor smell very bad.. room smell was not good too.. room only have 2 electricity socket, wifi super slow(very bad, my kids keep complaining want to move to other hotels), breakfast standard, like the title, the only plus point is.. near tunjungan plaza mall..

Location Ok but worst breakfast EVER!!
I stayed in ROOM 347 on the 5th till the 7th JULY,2019. Offcourse the location is superb cos it is next to the biggest mall in SURABAYA. I am not a CHEF but common sense prevails looking at the breakfast served. 1) Mix vegetable served were so tough as though they taken from a freezer and boiled and served. Come on you need to use some soya sauce n garlic and cook them right so that the VEGE is not that tough. 2) The EGG station where eggs omelets being cooked - You dont need 10 spoons of oil just to cook 2 eggs - infact I told the cook but her comments were to prevent the eggs from sticking onto the pan you need to put a lot of oil. 3)Fish fillets fried were packed wih oil with no drain pan or Tissues to soak up oil underneath the fish. 4)CEREAL section only light cheap corn flakes were served. You need to have OATS as it is an important cereal. 5) Bread station - only frozen white bread was served with marmalade jam and honey. The FROZEN bread served - who knows how long was the bread kept frozen. Where is the wholemeal bread. The TOASTER was a tiny toaster and only 2 pcs of bread could be toasted at one time- causing a long que of people waiting to toast bread. 6) Some of the dishes served were not labelled- come on! some people are VEGETARIANs and some people dont eat BEEF - who knows what you are serving. I think you gotta bring in GORDON RAMSAY (WORLD FAMOUS CHEF) and hear his comments to put things right.

You have better option
Apart from the location, almost nothing in this hotel deserved the price you paid. Security asked for a 20k parking fee which is supposed to be free, noisy air-con, super smelly bathroom (and the room), no iron and ironing board to be lend; instead you have to pay for their ironing service, below average breakfast and completely outdated hotel. I shouldve read the hotel review before taking decision.. but lucky enough I only staying for a night.

Not worthy for 4th star hotel
This hotel really need improvement, bad smell when entering the lobby, the lift are so slow very slow, bad room i've got premium deluxe room, it says PREMIUM but guest what i've got? A broken chair, a broken shower and there is no heat water, bathtub are dirty like its been used before, an electric kettle with water (i don't know from when and who fill the water) It really sucks to stay 2 night in here, and i suggest that you should'nt stay in here event for 1 night.

An unmaintained old hotel
Once I entered the lobby, obviously smelled an old hotel. But the bellboy was nice. A point for him and the concierge. When I went up to the room, again, obviously it was an old hotel, the smell of carpet and gloomy. The room was uncomfortable. Humid. And the air conditioning was not working properly! I set it up at the lowest degree with maximum speed, but I was still sweating at night while Im sleeping. I didnt call the engineer because I was too tired and need to wake up early morning to catch a flight. The wallpaper has stained and broken. The space between the bed and the wall, you will see a pile of dust. The breakfast was also not a great things to enjoy. I assume the milk tasted like it was mix with water. They authentic food I could enjoy there was papaya and my glass of tea. The rest was a big no. Lucky for me who only stay a night there. If more than that, I would prefer cancel my booking and stay at lower level hotel.
