  Large Apartment in Guam

  To stay in an apartment in Guam, rather than a high rise hotel, was perfect for our family of 4 adults. The 3 bedroom apartment was so spacious and perfect to come home to after a day of sightseeing. We had a hire car and so the apartment was only a couple of minutes drive to the tourist shopping precinct and the Micronesian Mall. The on site manager is unobtrusive but helpful. The kitchen was well equipped, except it lacked a kettle and a toaster.

  Filipino hospitality at its best!

  Stayed here for 2 nights, on our way to Marshall Islands, then another overnight stay heading back home the next day. A very nice, secluded apartment fronting a golf driving range and near everywhere. Theres no 24-hour front desk however, and thanks to our kababayan Lovely for special accommodation even at wee hours of the night. Make sure you bring your personal paraphernalia and toiletries with you but they provide towels, linens and washing machine, dryer for your dirty clothes and upkeep (if you need to stay a little longer). Drop by groceries before you check-in; they have microwave oven, coffee maker, rice cooker, ref and other kitchen appliances. The popular Pikas Café is also walking distance from here. We stayed at Unit E1 just near the remote-controlled security gate. Its a 2-storey, 3-BR townhouse, really big that could accommodate a dozen people (though the limit is 8). Room rate is $350+ but they say this is also for sale at $460,000 per unit. A Filipino businessman owns this Tumon Bel-Air so expect Filipino hospitality at its best. Theres also a pool albeit too small and just only 3 feet deep. Theres also a 2 car-garage for guests. No need to go in an expensive high-rise hotel, this is an ideal place for families and friends, getting your moneys worth. Also, thanks to our kababayan Arnel of Miki taxi service. This cool guy drove us around Guam and he was like acting a tour guide, hotel coordinator, baggage assistant, all at the same time. He even scolded (well slightly) a buko vendor at Two Lovers Point for overcharging us.

  Great place for a family or group of friends

  Not far from the airport and nicely located on a hilltop with easy access to the town and the beach, about five to seven minutes by taxi. Fully serviced apartments, great facilities and nice interior. A bit of a walk to the nearby supermarket and closest restaurant, 7-10 min or so. Best to get a rental car.

  Best comfort, secure & impeccably clean

  The place was perfect for our family of 6 adults - such 5 star comfort would have cost us much more if we had to book a couple of rooms in a hotel. Everything was just as advertised & even more. "Lovely" was most helpful & accommodating. Check in was quick with no fuss. We were provided with our own remote control key for easy access to the gated complex at any time and a key for the apartment (we stayed at B4 -excellent corner location) It's like home away from home with a garage enough for two cars though we had need for only one. Though we never had a chance to use the swimming pool and the golf range which was just beside the complex, these were attractive options. The place is impeccably clean, with very classy & well designed interiors & with all the conveniences needed (fully equipped kitchen with tableware & cutlery service for 8, 2door ref, dishwasher, quality cookware, microwave, toaster, full cooktop range with oven, washing machine & dryer. You do have to buy/bring in your own toiletries (except for toilet paper which was in ample supply), dishwashing & laundry detergent. Everything worked like a dream- aircon, excellent water pressure from all showers, strong wifi everywhere. If you need to check out early, you do need to inform Lovely beforehand to avoid delays in your schedule. The golf range was unfortunately closed during our visit because net was under repair. We were blessed to have a local resident lend us an SUV for our use during our entire stay. It might be advisable to arrange for car rental if you book here as we were informed taxis are a bit pricey and not too easy to get. K mart is not too far away and open 24h. There are a couple of eating places a stone's throw away as well as a convenience store.

  Expected too much

  A 3-bedroom house charging HKD$3k per night in Guam, I'd be expecting more. The place is rather dirty, the floor was oily, couch was dusty, bedsheets had stinks. The worst part is - you are supposed to clean the house else you need to pay USD$60 for house keeping. They won't even come to do the trash for you. 3 bedrooms you get 6 towels but if you need more (water activities etc), they won't give you additional, they will ask you to wash them. We had to ask for a hairdryer. Wifi was broken for the first 2 days and we had to ask them to fix it. Don't expect immediate service when you call, a typical wait is 1 hour, but to be fair, if they tell you 1 hour, they will really be on time. Good range of kitchen utilities but some of them don't work. Honestly i am not sure how it got rating 4.2 (when i booked thatz the rating on Expedia)
