  Great for the price

  For the price its a nice place to stay, room are basic but clean. I would recommend upgrading room to premium for the decking area at front of unit overlooking lake. Facilities are fairly good with bar and restaurant, breakfast and lunch menu OK as is the price, the dinner menu is nice but a little expensive and upmarket for the type of clientele.

  Location, location

  Great place to stop along the way from Strahan to Cradle Mountain. Beautiful views of the lake. We only stopped for lunch. The place seemed more attractive than the mining towns of Zeehan or Rosebery The menu choice lacked range, we thought. But a nice spot anyway.

  Not what it portrays to be

  We booked a Deluxe Queen room and though the room wasnt ready at 2pm we were happy to have a coffee in the restaurant to wait. After waiting 1/2 hour we went back to reception to get the key. Upon opening the door we were taken back by the amount of flies in the room. I noticed the fly spray can on the counter and sprayed approximately 20 flies. The room was very basic, the bed a double, no where to hang closes and the small sofa looked liked someone had vomited on it. The bathroom was very neat. I went to reception and said wed been given the room room, but apparently not. The receptionist was on Leaner plates so she went and got the owner who said yes the room was correct for what wed booked. We advised that we would be leaving and headed to Burnie. Sadly the rooms are absolute shockers which is a shame as the restaurant/ bar area seemed very inviting. Be aware when booking here, this is definitely one of those cases where the photos on website are no where near the actual product.

  Beautiful!

  This place is a great find. We were lucky to have room 2 which had a beautiful view of the lake. The rooms have been updated with comfortable beds, the bathroom clean and tidy and cute touches including timber book shelves and bed heads. There is a play ground for the kids and a games room just of the restaurant, so this place is perfect for families. The restaurant has delicious food and is well priced. This accommodation is great value and well worth the stop!!

  Some of the best food I have ever had!

  Whether you are traveling through Tullah, staying the night or weekend, Tullah Lakeside Lodge has absolutely amazing food. We recently stayed here for a weekend, wish it was longer, to do some fishing and hike Mount Farrell. We ate both lunch and dinner here and could not have been happier. The meal sizes are huge, even the kids meals, and the quality/taste was nothing short of amazing. Whenever we visit the West Coast of Tasmania in the future we will definitely be stopping in for a feed.
