    Amazing Hotel

Centrally located, neither in a busy place nor very quiet, the hotel boasts of affluence, most beautiful lobby I have seen, very co-operative staff. Rooms are spacious, elegantly made, bathrooms are clean and well decked. Breakfast is very good and that includes the morning staff. House-keeping staff are very helpful. Everything is close by; the pharmacist, eateries, pre-paid taxis.... not very far from the airport

    TERRIBLE

Looking at the name of the hotel, I opted to stay for 2 nights. And i guess it was a BAD DECISION. 1st night in my hotel, i noticed that there was some party going on the banquet hall (1st floor) and loud music was on. It was so loud that i could feel the vibrations in my room on 3rd floor. Rooms are not sound proof at all. From 10 pm - 12.30 am, I called up hotel reception for 4-5 times but they did not turned off the music. They were extremely casual about this that music for parties is on till 1-2 am. I mean come on. Because of their in house parties people staying in house have to suffer. What kind of hospitality is this? When there is a rule laid down by Maharashtra Government that music has to be turned off by 11pm, then what were these people trying to do? Next day at the reception when i raised this issue again, they were looking really sorry and i requested them that I wanna speak to the manager in charge. They said they will send their manager to my room to speak but no one ever turned up. Better not opt for this place because even after spending 11500 Rs. for 2 nights, I had sleepless night. So whats the use?

    By far worst experience

After a lot of recommendation from my local friends and family I chose Tuli imperial at Ramdas Peth for my one nite trip at Nagpur enroute to Pench. Things looked fine till we entered the hotel gates. Atleast I would say it looked impressive. But as soon as I entered the lobby, there was a foul smell almost as if I entered a stable. The entire hotel was dark and gloomy. No day lights or even artificial lighting. Rooms looked neat but bathrooms were pathetic. We chose to dine at the restaurant in the hotel itself called Mint leaf. The food was average but presentation and service was below satisfaction. We ordered for soup and asked them to make it 1 by 2 as my daughter wouldn't eat it as whole and they just poured it from 1 bowl to another not even cleaning the bowl exteriors. I've shared a picture of the same. We asked for diet coke they didn't have it. We asked for ginger ale or tonic water they didn't have it either. I wouldn't recommend staying here at all. I would rate this hotel and its service arnd 6/10.

A shadow of the old grandeur

I had stayed here many years ago. However, my stay from the October 27th to the 29th was a distant shadow of that old efficiency and grandeur. They have trained staff who is trying to do their best, but looks like the COVID - 19 season has really blunted the motivation of the top management. I wanted to talk to the GM and I was told that he doesn't come to the hotel nowadays. They told me that the morning breakfast starts at 6:30 and when I was there at 7:10, there was no one and was offering limited. Their interior requires sufficient lighting in the absence of which it give a very dull ambience. Probably due to the adverse business conditions, there was no proper lighting at the reception and in the corridors. The rooms are very good. Almost all the staff I met are courteous, But the infrastructure needs a serious revamp. I sincerely hope they put together a plan to address these issues so that Tuli Imperial is back to what it used to be.
