  Hidden Gem

  We are 1 week into our 10 day holiday and absolutely love it Here. It's not the Ritz but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are a little samey to be honest but fine. The lunches here are very good, in fact, they're up there with the best food we've eaten here and very reasonably priced. It's a family run hotel and everyone is very helpful. They also have an abundance of avocados and lemons growing on trees around the pool! Will definitely be back.

  Lovely hotel

  My wife and I were booked with jet2 for 9 nights in Calis, we were moved to this hotel because our original hotel was not opening till late August. We were a little sceptical as Tugay was rated lower than our original hotel. We neednt have been concerned because The Tugay was brilliant, friendly owners and staff, very well organised and in a great location (5 minutes to the beach). Our room was cleaned every day and fresh towels every other. A small charge for air-con and safe box but worth paying for. We wouldnt hesitate in revisiting and had a great time.   The best hotel in Calis

  Just spent our second visit to Calis at the fantastic Tugay Hotel. If you want all mod cons with five star flashiness then this isnt the place for you, however if you want good honest hospitality ( Ahmet is the best host in the world! ), cleanliness good rooms, great location, excellent pool, great breakfast then dont look any further than the Tugay Hotel. Thanks again for another excellent holiday see you again next year!!

  Booked this hotel after reading reviews .we paid extra for superior room on top floor only to be told our superior was in fact on 2nd floor which was not the same looking room as in the brochure when we pointed this out to the manager he said brochure has not been updated (They had overbooked and keep top floor rooms for regulars) there is a mosque next door and you will be woke up every day at approx 5am unless you are a seriously deep sleeper or deaf . Cleaning is ok until you pull the bed out to find something you lost .breakfast is ok if you like the same thing everyday and be aware complaining can make it awkward for you.photos of the room we paid extra for and the room we were given are shown which are both superior rooms (not)

  Great hotel....excellent value!

  2nd time staying at the Tugay and we loved it! Proper family run hotel. All the staff are friendly and helpful, everyone has time to say hi and make you feel welcome or offer some ideas for things to do. We stayed In the apartments over the road and they were lovely. Breakfast is the same each day but you can vary it if you like and if you ask they will do you an omelette or fried eggs. Pool is clean and a decent size. Not to cold either. Enough sun beds and chairs for everyone too. Shops/restaurants/beach/bars were a short walk away (not even 400m to the start of the strip) or you can ask the hotel to call a taxi. There is a funky little place opposite too that does nice food, has an art gallery, yoga, local produce etc. There is a mosque close by and yeah it did wake me up sometimes, sometimes we slept through but either way I went back to sleep. It didnt once wake my older dad or younger son up....but its turkey and there are mosques all over that call to prayer and we are visiting their country so cant really grumble. All in all a great little hotel for a great price .... well be back next year!
