    Place to truly enjoy

I like Zakopane very much and try to visit it as often as i can, and esspecially since i discovered "Tuberoza". This charming family owned little hotel with it's genuine style, great service, comfortable rooms, beautiful lobby with a fire place and even the discreet music - everything makes that you feel like home. There is more to say about "Tuberoza"! - the food in their restaurant is just delicious and for a very good price. I love their soups! (amazing mushroom soop or horse radish soup!). Lamb is great, fish is fantastic. Everything is fresh and tasty. Deserts .... impossible to resist their home made cakes. "Tuberoza" is a place to truly enjoy!

    back and back again

we visited tuberoza shortly before christmas 2010 for a very first time. our daughter was 9 months old at the time and we were looking for a place close by to zakopane town centre. upon arrival we were greeted by anna and jerzy who are the hotel proprietors. at this point we did not know that this place will become our base for winter holidays in future. tuberoza has been beautifully restored and bit of art nouveau twist has been added to keep the hotel's true story alive. with it's beautiful bar, roaring fires and candle light it provides an extremely relaxed atmosphere along with a top service. nothing is ever a problem. from arranging skiing lessons to washing our daughters mucky bibs ;-) the ladies in the reception are lovely and they can't do enough to make your stay even more comfortable. last year a fantastic addition has been made to the hotel. anna&jerzy have decided to add a little restuarant which serves residents and non residents and combines the best of polish and european cuisine. i can definitely say that they serve the best trout in zakopane and the best key lime pie in poland ;-) the lounge encourages the guests to spend time togehter and we have met some lovely people who will hopefuly be back next winter. everyone loves our daughter to bits and having her hiding under the tables, marching up and down the steps or singing out loud was never a problem. the bar is well stocked and you can warm yourself up with the best polish spirits and mulled wine or cool yourself down with top quality polish beers all at very reasonable prices. the hotel owners are friends with a grant skiing instructor called piotr and they can get you in touch with him if needed. the hotel is also based near to wielka krokwia (ski jumping hill) which has a skiing school and nursery with english speaking instructors. we are going back in january 2013 and we can't wait! the pattinsons

    Convenient hotel

Nice old fashioned hotel, very well located less than 10 minutes walk from the main street. In general terms everything in the hotel is great, as said the location is convenient, you can have a chance to find a spot and park your car inside --if you park outside you need to pay--, service was fine, breakfast was fair enough to start a day full of activities. The only issue is that the main shared areas are kind of cold which doesn't encourage you to stick around and enjoy its amenities.

Complementary sauna and hot tubnot complementary. Yelling manager always a bonus...

My husband and I stayed here about two years ago (July 2012). The people running the place appeared to understand english but refused to speak it but that was not too much of a problem because my husband knows polish. At the time we selected this location based on the the website offering complementary hot tub and sauna. When we checked in they said we needed to arrange with them one day in advanced so they could prepare the facilities kind of an inconvenience but ok. You can't complain about a free service, right? Upon checking out we were charged 75 zloty for using the sauna and hot tub (PS the hot tub was not working no water was in it) but at no time did they tell us by the way we charge for this. The website says complementary I guess shame on us for believing the website. They were going to call the police if we did not pay. So of course we paid. While we were there we could hear (all the way upstairs) the manager getting into "screaming" matches with several other customers The hotel was in a good location, it was clean, and the beds were nice. I would not recommend simply on the service we received and over hearing the manager yelling at other guests. There are too many other hotels to choose from to receive this treatment.

Lovely staff, comfortable, food was fantastic, close to everything, clean, classy and quiet, cheap. Make sure you bring your own soap or buy some when you're in zakopane...we're going back! Agi and John Perth, Australia
