Great Hotel, brilliant staffFrom the moment we arrived at 1am in the Morning I was very impressed with the hotel and even more so with the staff running it. We were greeted warmly by reception staff who checked us in fast and kept us smiling and laughing despite a long trip to get to the hotel. The last hotel I stayed at before this one had reception staff that couldn't crack a smile and it really makes for a poor start to the holiday so I have to firstly congratulate the reception staff. The rooms were very spacious I believe we had family rooms as it was my wife and 20 month old boy and effectively he had his own room which we could partition off with sliding doors. Generally you have to pay for use of the safe but we got lucky and it worked for us without needing to be reset, the room had a mini fridge but that was only stocked up with water. The cleaners did a great job cleaning and tidying our room each day and we really appreciated that as it's amazing how quick a toddler can untidy a room. The hotel itself we couldn't really fault, everything was clean and looked well presented, there was a well stocked shopping area to get any additional snacks or inflatables. Also in this area was a bowling alley and indoor arcade area for children. The hotel offered complimentary photo shoots and the final product we were shown was incredible. Obviously you will have to pay for any prints you want and the prices are "competitive", but might not be something you have budgeted for so just keep this in mind. There is a degree of emotional blackmail with these sorts of things as well because you will want the photos once you have seen them. Unfortunately you cannot get digital copies unless you buy a photo package for around £200-£250 which is a shame as the real value in photographs now is with digital ownership as you are then free to print what you like and have the convenience of showing family and friends the photo on your phone. I wouldn't consider this as a negative at all, but do want to make future guests aware. The pool areas were really impressive, so much choice, especially for children. Loads of water slides to chose from and various size pools, I would recommend checking everything out in your stay including the hotels beach area which I found to be extremely clean and not crowded. My son loved walking to the beach, playing in the sand and jumping the waves with me and it is a memory I will treasure. We experienced one issue of subbed reservation in our 10 days so that wasn't bad, one family reserved beds in two places which was a bit annoying and I couldn't see anyone in close proximity to inform except life guards and they had more important things to worry about. Apart from this minor issue it was easy to find a subbed in any area. However we did go at the end of the season so this could be a totally different experience if you visit in the middle of Summer. Check some Summer reviews if you have concerns. There are free ice cream stations scattered around the resort so if you fancy a sweet treat to cool you down take advantage of these, also water fridges are equally scattered around so no excuse not to stay hydrated. Meal times were both the highlight and a downer for us. Food wise there is a lot of choice but truthfully everything was pretty bland in taste, even the kebabs didn't taste of anything. We always found something to eat but had to top up with lots of bread to fill up. My son loved the food though and there is a kids area in the restaurant which was extremely cute and he enjoyed going in there to chose his food and afterwards he could watch a cartoon on the TV in there. I still consider the meal times to be a true highlight of our stay though because of the staff. They were the best I have seen in my limited 10 or so years of going on holiday with my wife and more recently with my son as well. One staff member in particular, (I'm gutted I never got his name but will add a photo) would always check on us and everyone else to see if we needed anything. He also went out of his way every meal time to entertain our son and on the final day he walked hand in hand with him out to reception which I think melted all of our hearts. He didn't have to do any of this but it really elevated our experience at the hotel and he should be congratulated for his efforts. I can't comment on evening entertainment as we were a family of 5 this time and made our own entertainment with cards and Uno in the outside bar (forgotten the name). The waiter at this bar however is a credit to the hotel, very hard working, extremely attentive and has a great memory. He would see us coming and shout our drink order over, if we gave a thumbs up it would be at our table before we had all sat down, what a legend. The only other real negative which is not the hotels fault was that it did have a majority of Russian guests and there is obviously a cultural difference between English and Russian as we found the majority to be very rude and self entitled, especially at meal times. I wouldn't say it detracted from our experience too much but is was definitely something I would like to know about before visiting somewhere else. I would say in conclusion that for us it was nearly perfect, so I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to smilier travel parties, the minor points I have raised that are negative would not be enough to put us off returning and we are actually hoping to go back in 2020.

A fanstatic family holiday! We stayed in the Hotel Pegasos Royal for 2 weeks mid October and it was brilliant form start to finish. We booked a sea view room and it was certainly worth it, the view was out of this world. With full use of all 3 Pegasos hotels there is so much to do in the resort. It is spotlessly clean everywhere and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The entertainment in the evenings was the best we have ever seen in an All Inclusive hotel, and the Nazar/Tui girls that put on the mini disco... Well we can't thank them enough. Since we have got home our 2 girls (aged 6 and 3)have not stopped singing and dancing from the routines they learnt! There is a small row of shops across the road, and about 25 minutes walk into Avsallar. We caught the dolmus into Alanya and Side and it cost about £1 each, a bargain for a 45 minute journey. There was a good choice of food at all meals, our only criticism is that it felt like stocks were being used up due to end of season. Some nights were more limited and the choice did get smaller towards the end. Totally understandable as the hotel is quieter, but a bit annoying seeing as we had paid for 2 weeks of what we thought would be the same standard of food. We would like to say a personal thank you to Ata in the buffet restaurant, he was absolutely fantastic, and looked after us so well at every dinner time. He definitely made our dinner times less stressful, and our girls were so excited to see him. Our 3 year old even remembered him today out of the blue which was lovely to hear. I would also like to thank the guys on the evening lobby bar, I'm sorry I can't remember their names, but they grew used to my bar visits, and my '2 beers, 1 baileys' order, that I didn't even need to ask when I walked in. If we return to the area then we would certainly look to return.

Pegasos RoyalSpent a week at the pegasos royal in september. Really great hotel, but some few small cons (depending on how young kids). At arrival surprised by the welcoming to the room, according to the staff it was a co-incidence that we had a surprise at the room (but my wife turned 40 during the stay) ... Really clean hotel and area, and the beach was great! Best beach so far on my trips, just sand and family friendly! The pool area was nice, but actually i liked the pool of pegasos world more (last years trip). A little bit small-ish. And as our kids are 12 and 16 yo, they thought the waterslides were a little bit "lame". But the waterpark is very nice and beautiful, especially if visiting with smaller kids. The small but great animation team did a really good job, especially "pikachu". He was the hero for my daughter. The evening shows were quite high class during the week, and we enjoyed all of them. When it comes to food, all in all it was good. Since visiting pegasos world last year the lunch was a little bit of a let down. I would have liked a snack bar with more options with some variety. But the food was well prepaired and tasty! As there are sister hotels at the area, you can spend all day at different pools/outside bars. Great! The room we had was inland, but I think it was really good. Only morning sun, but refreshing in the afternoon! Only downthing the mainroad keeping noice when keeping balcony door open. All in all, the best all-inclusive hotel so far! Recommend especially for families with smaller kids!

Great serviceFrom the start of our holiday to the end, the service was brilliant, the manager Mahir was amazing, anything we asked for he done his best to sort. Meal times he was there to ask if everything was ok, towards the end of our stay one of our boys was sick and dehydrated and Mahir sent food up to our room for him, brilliant service and very helpful. The bar by the beach... hats off the the bar staff especially Adham after you had been once every time you went again he knew your drinks order, watching him in the evening was amazing when it got busy. Water slides and pools were great, always clean. Rooms were lovely and clean. Food was ok for the size of hotel, but the Russians need to learn some manners. Fantastic hotel would recommend
