Quirky and fun hotelExtremely unusual "hotel" consisting of different Trulli buildings on streets around the Reception (another Trulli). So, not a tradition hotel-with-rooms, more a collection of different addresses. Each Trulli unique, so they all vary. Mine was lovely, three rooms, incl kettle/kitchenette, lounge area, bedroom, lovely bathroom with good powerful shower. I also had an area with sun loungers out the back! Breakfast good, served in Reception Trulli. Lots of fresh fruit, cereals, breads, cheese, cold meat, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, walnuts. Might feel a bit lonely if you are on your own a way from Reception. Quite a lot of sightseers looking in your window at times!!!

Different but nice!My wife had always wanted to stay in a trulli house and here we had the chance to make this happen. We stayed in one for two nights and it was very relaxing (provided you remembered to duck occasionally due to the low ceiling in the small kitchen area). Breakfast was served in the main reception and was a good continental style eat as much as you want buffet. Parking for bikes was provided, there were several cyclists staying here, probably doing the same round trip as we were. It certainly was different, but enjoyable.

Cute townCool to stay in a Trulli house. We have slept in all sorts of unique places( yurts, girs, caves and a wine cellar) and this was every bit as unique. Location was perfect right in the center of town ( we were in unit 31), but very quiet as the walls are thick. Very nicely furnished - they make the most of every square inch)but a little tricky for my husband as he is tall. Bathroom is quite modern and very functional. In hindsight we would have preferred one night for a couple of reasons. There was a heat wave while we were there and the A/C worked for the living area but it did not cool the bedroom. Also, again because of the heat we could not open the windows and so there is no natural light which freaks me out a little. Manager is nice and breakfast was good though they did not tell me I could get a capicino or espresso which I quickly ordered after someone else. Otherwise, they have Nescafé as American coffee but it was not hot. One other point- when you get to town park your car and walk to the reception. My GPS messed up and it took us on a street too narrow for our comfort and we walked forever to find the check in as the sign is hard to see.

Atmospheric, but...Lets just agree from the start that trullis have got to be the most adorable houses out there, and actually staying in one is a great experience. But, this was the one hotel on our 8-day bike trip that we spent more than one night in, and I wish it had been any other from a comfort standpoint, which was a high priority after a full days cycling. The furnishings were pretty spartan, the shower was tiny (even by European standards) and the beds were merely adequate. I believe all the trullis here are slightly different (ours included a kitchen and dining room neither of which we ever used), and it may be that some are more luxe than others, but come here for the atmosphere and experience rather than comfort.
