  Truly a Wonderful Experience

  A perfect place for your family or team to stay. The check in has beautiful colors and fun games to for the kids and families to play. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel room clean and neat, very comfortable beds and large tv provided for relaxing time with kids.

  State tournament stay...

  We traveled as a group for the state hockey tournament. This was our second year at this hotel and we will stay, if we are able, again next year. The hotel allowed us to take over the lobby each night, the girls playing games and the parents having a few drinks and relaxing. The staff was very accomodating. A great place to stay, with clean and comfortable rooms.

  Nothing that was promised, actually happened.

  In Buffalo for work and needed a clean room, clean towels and breakfast. My shift started at 6, so I asked, by text, if I could grab breakfast early and go. I was told that there would be someone at the front desk 24/7 who could help me. Both mornings, the desk was abandoned with a sign that said that they would return shortly. Due to covid 19, there is no housekeeping. This was not communicated in any way, at the front desk or in the room itself. Due to the check in being done online, at a distance, there was no contact with the front desk, so the rule about lack of housekeeping was not communicated. The room and bathroom had someone else's hair on the floor and the shampoo bottles. If there is so much concern about protecting staff during covid, perhaps protecting the guests would also be a good idea (by cleaning the room thoroughly). So there was no breakfast, no housekeeping, no clean towels (unless I got them myself) but the price remained the same. I tried to reach out to the manager to have a conversation but given lack of response, I figured I would warn other travelers about this place. There are other options in the area.

  Thank you for a great stay!

  Thank you to the hotel for a great stay for 2 nights during our Covid summer! We really appreciated the extra attention the hotel has given to safe practices, such as to-go-bag breakfasts and a wipe station for using the luggage carts. I just saw another review with someone grousing about no housekeeping for multi-day stays, but this practice makes sense for a hotel in NY, and the hotel communicated well about it, with information about how to get clean towels or other assistance. All of the staff was as sweet as could be - love their attitudes. This was my first stay in a Tru brand, and I really loved the hotel setup. Although the rooms are compact, you don't really notice it, because everything is really well planned. I'll be keeping an eye out for more Tru hotels in my future!

  Great stay

  Arrived and had an issue with our room on the first night due to noise above us and it was taken care of right away! Would highly recommend this hotel as they were very courteous, professional, and the motel was very clean and very modern!
