  Good for the final Disney World stretch

  we stayed here before the final leg of our drive to Disney world. This seems like a brand new hotel and was very clean. Staff was nice and knowledgeable. The breakfast selection was very generous even considering COVID

  Good except for noise.

  Clean and comfortable room. Appreciate Hiltons CleanStay program and the ability to do digital check-in and key. Wed driven 12 hours from Michigan and were tired but unfortunately took a while to get to sleep due to noise from the neighbors tv. The walls are very thin. Not sure that anything can be done about that. The breakfast area was clean and well-maintained.

  Overnight visit

  The hotel location was good, near lots of restaurants and shopping but the interstate road traffic could be heard in our room on the 2nd floor. Our check in was quick and the person working was very pleasant. We just assumed that we would have a coffee pot in the room but did not...that was a disappointment.

  One night stay

  Had an early morning marathon to run at the Speedway, which is why I picked this location. Cant remember why I picked Tru over Hampton, both next door to each other, though must have been on price. (made reservation many months ago). The hotel is located in a great location of you are travelling on I75 and need a stop for the night outside of Atlanta, plenty of parking and free car charging of you are Electric. The brand is trying to be very modem, funky, college dorm like?! Rooms were very basic with fridge though no coffee machine ( which was surprising) Small desk on wheels ( like school style) and bathroom was also basic with shower. Couple of nice points.they have a water bottle refill unit near the lobby, which I was impressed with and very Eco friendly, also the normal small towelettes were done away with and large squeeze bottles attached to the walls in the shower and next to the sinks. ( they just need to remember to refill them) Breakfast was as expected, both hot and cold, sit down or take away. Only complaint was regarding the pouring coffee, which was available at breakfast only. When asking a staff member, was informed it stopped due to Covidthough he said go next door to Hampton Inn and they have it available, which I did! Seems a little crazy, considering all under the Hilton umbrella, though whatever! Personal would probably not stay at a Tru again, unless there was no other HH property close to where I needed to be or a major price difference. Also to those who are points people, Tru earning rate is only 50% of the other brands, or 5 per $....interesting the redemption level is not 50% that of the other brands

  Really probably 2 & 1/2...

  Staff was friendly...excellent, made reservation thru Hilton Honors App ... Asked for a room as quiet as possible since location backed up to I-75...had Room 205...walls are thin, but fortunately our neighbors were not loud, but if they talked, could hear the conversation. Back to room... ?? TV remote had no battery cover...wiped it down as nothing on it to say it had been cleaned??...door handle on bathroom door very loose? disappointed with cleanliness for a room without carpet...since it is Covid and we are at risk, I use Lysol & Clorox and clean any surface we may possibly touch...light switches, doors/handles nightstands any countertops, faucets, and yes toilet handle & seat, that said, noticed black mark on the floor...then another mark, then under the end of the bed, something had been spilled like pop (I hope ) then near headboard, spilled lotion or toothpaste dried up on the floor..of course then I'm looking more...beds are on wood platforms...found food particles there on both queen bed platforms, bathroom shower doors on the bottom, gross...so needless to say, I cleaned the floor....would not walk barefoot in the room......desk chair had many stains/spots... I know I could have complained, got another room, blah, blah, blah...things are tough right now and do not want to cause anxiety for me or staff or to cause a scene...for one night during travel home to Michigan, wasn't worth it...we left very early to get through Atlanta...breakfast was very slight I'm sure due to covid-19, grabbed a few bagels, coffee...hubby is diabetic, so will need stop for early lunch...Is what it is, folks have to decide what is best choices for them during this crazy time. Used my HH points, so at least no direct financial impact...just hope management pays more attention to the details...
