Junky RoomsThe finishes and furnishings of the room are made as cheaply as possible, not to mention the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Two words come to mind when thinking of the room - Motel 6. However, the lobby, exterior and location was spot on.

Spring break/ college toursClean hotel with vibrant colors in the lobby area. Great location!! I would advise Hilton to place a small note in the bathroom to let visitors know that their room will not be tended to everyday, but every other day. I was unaware of that, although knowing that would not change the fact that I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay again. This Hilton Brand is a minimalist hotel with a millennial vibrant vibe, but can also welcome a family on vacation!! I made the mistake of assuming that someone would change the linen and turn down the beds every day, "my mistake" but after I made the situation aware to Ms. Bankston, the manager on duty; she went out of her way to take care of my room anyway. This wasn't necessary but I wanted to publicly thank her for going above board and extending excellent customer service!! I'll be back and invite others to do the same @ Tru by Hilton!!

Customer service/Front DeskSunday evening 6/14/20 @ 8:00 PM I wish I had gotten the ladies name at the front desk she hung up on me because I ask questions concerning the upkeep of the hotel and how they were handling COVID-19, She hung up on me. If she couldn't answer the question why not refer me to a manager. This is the rudest staff I have ever come in contact with. I was under the impression this was a nice hotel. Please train your staff in customer service I was very nice to her not once was I rude or anything. I am canceling my 5-day reservation of 2 rooms for August. We were planning a family trip to bring my son to school there. Pat

Family outingHotel was clean nice decor and beds bathroom and shower where very nice. That was the only thing good I can say about my visit. First off if check out is at 11 are 12 why at 9 housekeeping keep knocking on the door rushing you not once are twice several times very rude. Then I checked in paid before I got there but was asked once at the hotel to come down about payment then call twice after check out. I have stayed at 4 and 5 star hotel that where 200 plus dollars a nice and did have this type of issues with over a 72 dollar room. I will never stay here again if it was the last hotel open. Staff is just horrible very rude and incompetent and very unprofessional. I would advise anyone to pay the extra couple dollars and stay elsewhere.

Definitely not my cup of teaI discovered that the Tru brand by Hilton is definitely not my cup of tea, but it may be yours. Im a Diamond member with Hilton and try to stay at their properties whenever possible. Id never stayed at a Tru and thought I might save a little money and check it out. The old adage of You get what you pay for, was never more true. I think I knew Id made a mistake when I saw the pool table and sling chairs in the lobby. My 20-year old self might have loved it, but nope. Overall, the room was clean and the hotel pretty quiet. Im just not in the demographic that Tru is geared toward.
