NO REASON TO EVER GO HERE AGAINSmall rooms, no washer and dryer in the rooms as indicated on RCI site, 4 w/d for a 7 story bldg, hot tub is 4 person only and is not open despite checking and confirming prior to visit and booking. Heated pool is nice but not at 40 degree temps. The amenities are inadequate for 2 7 story bldgs, grills are in the parking lot, not enough seating, smoking is permitted in public areas/garage/sundeck, etc.(disgusting) as was the POT SMOKING in the garage and other public areas. Underground parking and 1st floor parking is limited to 1 vehicle even if the rental is a 2 BR sleeping 6.-some spaces are tight. Bathrooms for pool are in the garage about 1/2+ block away however the well appointed housekeepers lounge is right at the door-poor design. Employees use the parking garage, clock-in then smoke, while negatively discussing the owners and the guests while guests are present. Cleaning was poor at best, elevators/handrails/common touch areas were neglected with 1 older male half-heartedly wiping here and there but doing very little good. Handrails to pool, beach, and garage were NEVER cleaned, trash in many areas left the entire week, staff are unaccomodating, RCI info is incorrect-our entire New Years was altered negatively due to the false information prior to booking and arrival. Couldn't enjoy balcony due to pot smokers, after 9am no sun hits the balcony and after 2pm the bldg blocks the sun from the beach and the pool area as well as the "SUN" deck!! A back sun deck is available with 4 chairs/1 table and not clean. Cig burns in the tables is disgusting. Designated smoking areas do not exist. Rarely got sleep due to the constant luggage wheels and carts by the rooms which are ALL on the walkway-poor design-no sleep. Ended up moving to the couch to sleep. Water pressure is near to non-existing-to fill up a 32 oz cup in the kitchen I was able to use the bathroom and comeback only to wait. We hated this resort and would never recommend it to those who enjoy vacationing and expect standards for a resort. Being at the beach with the constant moisture and water begs for at minimum a dryer-4 dryers to a bldg of 7 floors?? and 8 for an entire resort property-not acceptable. This resort is inadequate at best and the manager could care less if guests were lied to by staff or mislead by the booking company.

Beautiful location but not as wonderful as past experiences. Not sure if it's due to all the covid issues but was slightly disappointed with my experience. Not the quality I have grown accustomed to in the many years that I have attended. Not as sparkly clean as usual. Bathroom sink faucet was loose and wiggly. Shower pressure was horrible. Sound proofing around the door is lacking greatly and you can hear the traffic very loudly. Love this location. Every staff member I encountered were helpful and friendly. Bed was very comfortable and linens are above average. Don't understand some of the "covid" rules but do understand the need for them. On New Year's Eve beach access was locked and due to buildings positioning limited the ability to see beach fireworks which was disappointing. Felt they could have made an exception for that one night on locking the gates so early.

Not impressed that non-owners are being allowedFor some reason (likely the negative review), my post for this visit never made it for viewing. So I'll try again. Been coming to TST for 31 years, since its inception, in fact, and I'm likely one of the very first owners ever. Having said that, we've always found the accommodations tidy, well equipped and up to date. No argument there, ever, and the fees and taxes are reasonable. Our stays have always been enjoyable. However, we're now noticing the proliferation of non-owners, meaning anyone off the street can come in and get a room. Normally, I wouldn't have an issue with that, as I understand that revenue needs to be generated. My issue becomes use of the facilities and guidelines/rules that are being ignored with regard to those facilities. Example: the hot tub rules clearly state NO children, max occupancy 4 persons, and max stay 20 minutes. A group of non-owners, with their brood of brats in tow, proceeded to take up space in the hot tub for over an hour, which made it impossible for anyone else to get in. They also took 8-10 deck chairs and covered them with their towels, meaning we couldn't get any of those either. So we tried to hang out in the pool, and just relax. Nope, the little monsters were going back and forth between the hot tub and pool, and of course, right where the 4 of us adults were situated.. When the parents finally decided to have the tiniest bit of courtesy and allow others to get in, they still had the children bouncing back and forth from tub to pool, which meant we couldn't enjoy it even after we had waited all that time. When I bought in 1988, it was married couples only, and no children younger than teens allowed. Perhaps its time to regulate and enforce that once again, or it might be time for us to be owners elsewhere. I paid for exclusive, i expect exclusive.

Needs some workGreat view but not much else beyond that. Property is very old and looks it. Phase II was closed so cant comment on that but Phase I didn't impress. Elevator barely worked, kept thinking we would get stuck. Old rooms, old furniture, etc. Bedrooms are in back so no views from bedroom. We were in 1-bedroom in middle of 4th floor. If you want oceans view but don't plan spend on spending much here its OK. We were there 4 nights and room was never cleaned nor were towels replaced, so maybe its only once week. Bed was comfortable so I guess there is that.

wonderful experienceThis was our first time visiting as our neighbors weren't able to come this week, they graciously let us come in their place. Lonni was a great help to us, the maintenance man i think his name was Bob was very busy and pleasant to talk to. Our room was very clean, and we had an awesome time while here, and hope some day we can return for another visit. Kelly, Tina & Allie
