  Spacious room, spotlessly cleaned, but really need a renovation

  The room is one of the cleanest I've seen in Taipei, and it's quite spacious (probably around 35-40 m2). As other reviewers have pointed out, this hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The room itself is alright, but the bathroom, electrics (power outlet...etc), remind you of a hotel forgot in time in the 90s. Location-wise, subway is accessible with about 10 minutes walk.

  Basic hotel in central

  Unfortunate, i was here in 2014 with a travel group of around 30 people. This is a basic hotel in town. Quite easy to go everywhere. What i like most which is the breakfast (really a home from home) Price range maybe a bit high.

  Simple with large beds

  I've stayed at this hotel twice; once when I brought some students (18 years) and another time with my family (inclusive of a 4 and a 5 year old.) The hotel was perfect for my family, given that the beds were extremely big. The room's are definitely dated but the rooms are well-maintained. There's a decent buffet breakfast every morning, and quite a few restaurants, if you turn right as soon as you exit the hotel. There are also two bubble tea cafes close-by. It's located near the shopping mall, Living Mall, which is where Baby Boss (Kidzania) is located, for those with kids. Occasionally, the Golden Horse Award holds screenings of its films at the Living Mall It's a ten-minute walk to Nanjing Sanmin MTR.

  Roomy & comfortable

  My family stayed at this hotel during our recent trip to Taipei. We all agreed that it is a great place to stay. Some of the reasons we liked the place include: 1. Rooms are large, clean, beds comfortable and with all the basic amenities a traveler would normally ask for such as in-room safe, bath/shower, mini-fridge (empty so you can stock up on your own beverages), electric kettle, complimentary bottled water and tea/coffee. 2. Despite having a room that faced the main road, we were pleasantly surprised that our rooms were adequately sound proofed, and traffic noise was not an issue. 3. Access by public bus was easy, and by MRT slightly less so (the nearest station, Nanjing Sanmin, is about a 10-15 min walk away). 4. Two convenience stores and a 24-hour supermarket within easy walking distance (from the hotel lobby, turn right and walk a few minutes; you'll come across them in no time). 5. Great (local) breakfast options abound - just ask the hotel staff to give you directions. In particular, there is a shop next to the nearby post office that sells delicious dumplings, and another one across the road from the bus stop at the Taipei Veterans Service Centre that sells delicious baos. 6. The rooms are equipped with sockets that can take any plug from any country in the world, so if you forget to bring an adapter you needn't worry. They also have a couple of USB ports to charge mobile phones etc although not all appear to be working properly. The kids complained that ports in their room didn't work while those in mine were fine. Other points to note: 1. The in room TV has many channels but most of them are in Mandarin. The few English channels are CNN (the only news channel), a few Discovery channels, and movie channels such as HBO, Fox, Cinemax. 2. The hotel changed our bath towels every day which I felt was unnecessary. 3. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, and personally while I felt that it would've been adequate I wasn't really impressed by the spread. Besides the usual cooked items eg bacon/ham/sausages they had cereal, a couple of fruit juices, and bread. 4. There is a coin-operated washing machine and dryer available for guests' use (NT$70 for the washer and NT$80 for the dryer; accepts only NT$10 coins; hotel can provide change). You can purchase a packet of liquid detergent for NT$10 from the hotel lobby. Getting there is a bit tricky - take the lift to level 2, turn right and go through two emergency exit doors. At the emergency exit stairwell after the second door the laundry room is on the right.

  Very nice hotel

  This hotel locate in between subways. that means you need to take about 10 minutes walk. not a good idea if you have luggage with you. But room very clean. staffs very friendly. Size of room also good for one or two persons share a room. People said beakfast is good. but didn' t got chance to taste it. This is a real hotel. not just some rooms in a building. Good.
