  Cheap basic hotel, large rooms, nice people in charge. basic pool

  I needed a cheap place to stay and this place fitted the bill, I only booked 2 nights as was unsure it would be ok as was so cheap, but I stayed the week in the end. The rooms are bi, but to be honest basic. limited TV channels but good WiFi, so was able to watch Netflix without any issues. good location for what I needed to do. I found the hotel staff helpful and useful, the boss lady Beatrice was great, full of info and always up for a chat. The rooms and bathrooms are basic, shower curtains not so good etc. But at this price you cannot be complaining to much. I have seen far worse places at more money than this. The rooms had fridge freezers so i had ice for my drinks. A/c worked well at all times. Patrick the taxi driver was a nice man too. nobody ripped me off, but all treated me with respect. You pay up front here in cash, hence my only booking 2 days in advance in case i did not like the place, but once here I knew the place was good and stayed the week. The pool worked, the chairs are a bit run down and it is not the nicest area for hanging out but for a dip in the evening after a long hot day it was fine. Do not expect the Ritz for this money, it is cheap for Accra and I think good value. I will be staying here again as I pay for my own bills when traveling. Whilst I was there, some people would complain when checking in that they had to pay up front... well why not? This is not a place where you take a deposit off your credit card. It is a cheap, OK place to stay. They even had Breakfast in the price too. Not the best I will admit, but it was OK. There is no restaurant here but outside there are plenty of options and they allow food to be delivered to the hotel.

  Never Staying Again

  Rusted / dirty bathroom, only one working light in the room- after requesting light bulbs it took the staff 2 days to follow through. Security guard was literally always asleep, sometimes bringing girlfriends over & utilising one of the rooms, rather than working. I would often find him asleep in the reception on the sofa with his blanket. No hot water for the duration of the stay even though this was reported multiple times. Owner doesn't seem to care enough about the establishment. Chose to stay here due to the convenience of the location but honestly it just wasn't worth it in the end.

  Good value, nice experience

  Just stayed for a week and had a wonderful experience. The staff is likely different than those from earlier reviews because they were very friendly and helpful. The owner was dedicated and inspiring. Collectively they really made my visit to Accra special. The hotel itself is somewhat basic but everything worked (AC, hot water, Wifi). Breakfast was also fine. It is far from a luxury hotel but I would hope that everyone would know that by the price they are paying. Also I absolutely loved the East Legon neighborhood! The hotel is a close walk to the ANC shopping mall. Really nice neighborhood, very enjoyable.

  Hotel is Filty! Cockroaches! Mold! Filthy Beds. False Advertisement Photos. Do Not Stay Here

  We booked through hotels.com. when we arrived, the outside looked impeccable. Once inside, the hotel is run down and dirty. We immediately left in a Uber and stayed at Plus 33 Hotel, affordable, and has been great there! Tribeca Hotel is not up to quality standards, mold on walls, dirty bedding, dirty walls, simply disgusting. See photos --- see the cockroach on the sink counter.

  Great Location

  Tribeca Hotel is located in East Legon at the end of Lagos Avenue linking Pawpaw street. The hotel is cool with few rooms but need to really upgrade. The management needs to step up there game. Breakfast is so poor, I advice you to ignore because it will get u angry. We did not really enjoyed our stay because they kept hitting the wall of the room beside us with heavy noise in the name of renovations of rooms. I wonder why the hotel was not short down for few days to carry out its renovations rather than disturbing the peace of his guest. My wife developed serious migraine during our stay, because the hotel management refuses to yield to our complain. Will rate hotel 2/5. They can be better.
