Need improvementStay here for 1 night at deluxe room. Overall the room is little bit old. They must do some upgrade to make the hospitality better. They have bathtub, also little bit broken in some part. Especially they must upgrade the towels also. We have little balcony which show mount arjuna in the background and the big garden and pool. Breakfast is average. Pool is nice, my kid enjoy it very much Wifi is poor. They said they have trouble at wifi, but during my stay, there is no improvement in the connection Location is good. Only few minute to the food stalls and fruit market.

Magnificent view in front of the roomActually this hotel has amazing valley view. Since almost facing to the East, therefore in the ealy morning you can enjoy the sun rise (especialy if you stay in the middle side rooms with balcony). I ever stayed here several time 7 to 10 years ago. The hotel building with the Greek stile currently already lost its charming. Need a very serious renovation to recover its previous charming. My room is big, but furniture is quite old. The bathroom looks dirty, but fortunately not smelly. However, food wise is so so, and the staffs are very helpful.

poor quality hotelthey need to refurnished the furnitures.. eventhou the view is breathtaking, but people that did not stay in this hotel can easily enter this property (poor privacy), very noisy.. loud noises from the karaoke place and the village can be heard from the room, very disturbing

Excellent but old hotelThe hotel is old, as seen by the furnishing. However the room did not smell old. The ambience is very calm, relaxing and tranquil; very suitable for people who wanted some peace. The water here is very refreshing and abundant because it came directly from the mountains. The pools do not use chlorine too because the water is very clear. Every room has a balcony, and we can see breathtaking views as well as sunshine pouring into our room in the mornings.

Grand Hotel that has seen better days, long agoI booked a room via another site. OYO, the company that runs the hotel chain now, uses local franchisees which may be part of the problem. There was huge confusion when I arrived as the office tried to contact me by whatsapp or phone, both of which were unsuable due to my trip up to Prigen from Surabaya, with intermitted phone and data coverage only. When I arrived, no one seemed to know what was happening. Then they put me in a room with a sputtering tap that squirted trapped air all night. The room was old, with moth eaten curtains, a CRT TV (I kid you not - a model from the 90's) cracked tiles, creaking wardrobe. There was no shower curtain and a leaky shower head which could not stay in position. Food was almost non-existent. Dinner took the kitchen guys an hour to prepare, presumably because they were not expecting ANY guests and probably had to truck in the chef from somewhere not in the vicinity. Although when it did arrive it tasted quite ok, but probably because by then I was ready to eat the table. Fortunately, the next day they moved me to slightly (very slightly) better surroundings. In the daytime I could see that the pool was large and the area seemed to be designed to mimic a Roman or Spanish type of resort with (resin) statues of various well-proportioned figures in heroic and feminine poses. The staff tried their best but seemed to be lost most of the time. I suspect management instructions to be very brief and there was hardly any evidence of significant upkeep. There is a semi-permanent stall selling trinkets, night market Asianic gewgaws along the main corridor which is a bit jarring - I looked through a collection of knives, laser pointers, shellfish decorations, nailclippers and ear cleaners but the most interesting item, sadly, was a bored (sad?) looking iguana kept in a wire cage next to the stalls. Overall the stay was serviceable. Breakfast buffet seemed to be available only when the hotel had a significant amount of guests. There was a random aerobic class with blaring rock music at an early hour. The whole experience was somewhat bizarre. I can only call it an interesting one, much less so a good stay. However the beds were decent. A budget stay, but I would say leave your expectations at the airport.
