  B & B Perfection!

  We arrived at Tregony House after a long drive, and had a very warm welcome from a very friendly Gavin and Charlotte. From that moment, we knew that we had picked the perfect accommodation. Immediately they were very helpful, showing us where to park the car, and asking to take our luggage up to the room. We were in room 4, with the external bathroom, and when we entered the room, it was immaculate. It was nicely decorated, had a good assortment of tea/coffee facilities, and a glorious view over the bay, despite being at the back of the house. The bed was comfortable, with sumptuous pillows and bedding, and there was adequate cupboard/wardrobe space for our belongings. The external bathroom was not an issue at all. It literally faced the bedroom door, and is completely private, with your own key, and private signage for room 4 only. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! There was plenty to choose from to suit all tastes. You could have fruit, cereals, yoghurts, or various hot options, with toast included, plus potfuls of tea or coffee. Each morning we started with fresh fruit and yoghurt, followed by a traditional English breakfast, which was always cooked to perfection. It really did set us up for the day. Nothing was too much trouble, and both Gavin and Charlotte were genuinely interested in what we had been up to, but also gave us local recommendations for day trips, and eating out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tregony, it is in the perfect setting, and has the most perfect hosts. We will definitely be visiting again, and would not hesitate to recommend this place.   Beautiful place to stay

  We went to Cornwall for both mine and my partners birthdays. My partner hadnt been to Cornwall before and hes a bit picky with things, so I was a bit worried with my choices of places to stay. We arrived at Tregony guest house to a lovely welcome from Gavin & Charlotte who are the most lovely couple. They welcomed us in to their home and showed us to our beautiful room no 3 with the most stunning view of porthmeor beach. It had two chairs set in the bay window with a small table. There was a great choice of teas and coffees in the room, toiletries in the bathroom and the most loveliest towels and bed linen from the white company, which for me was a massive plus as you know they have gone that extra mile to provide comfort for your stay. They said they couldnt come in to the room and clean but they had a system for changing cups, towels and replenishing tea etc if needed. We were quite capable of making our bed, which I must say was so comfortable. Breakfast were lovely and a good choice to suit all. We left our car in the main st ives car park which wasnt a bother at all. It done us good to have that little walk in the morning, but to be fair we only moved it once as we stayed around st ives. The weather was stunning the guest house the same so I wouldnt hesitate to recommend and we would definitely stay again. My partner was very impressed. Thank you again Gavin & Charlotte x

  Lovely Experience despite COVID!

  What a lovely B & B - COVID well dealt with, lots of mask wearing, breakfast sittings and really liked 3 days where no one came into our room (I always feel I have to tidy up normally!). Perfect location, 100yds from the Tate, though the clamber up the hill after dinner was a challenge at times. Charlotte & Gavin were great; unobtrusive but available when needed. They even found us a couple of cushions to borrow for Minack theatre. Breakfast was excellent, especially Charlotte's superlative scrambled eggs. We stayed in Rm3 on the first floor - gorgeous, spacious, airy, beautifully decorated (all seaside blues, greens and white) with fabulous views from the comfortable bay window seating area. St Ives is a parking nightmare so would recommend you take advantage of the one parking space the Tregony has in the public car park 50 yds away. It saved our sanity!

  Fantastic

  Absolutely gorgeous two nights away. The hosts were warm and friendly. The room cosy and clean. The breakfasts superb with a great choice. Fantastic location with a short walk into town. We would definitely go back.

  Amazing stay

  Family room, facilities, breakfast and Char and Gavin were great. The sea view was beautiful as was watching the sunset from the room. Close location to all beaches and sights in St Ives. No complaints. One tip if no car would be to get a taxi to/from the station. Would love to stay again!
