A quiet Weekend awayWe needed a small break away after some medical treatment. Booked into the Tregenna Castle Hotel. We were not disappointed. A beautiful Castle in a magnificent setting. Staff were amazing and everywhere was so clean. Even though the Covid restrictions were in place , we didn't feel uncomfortable at all and nothing felt out of place. The room was spacious and had great views. The bathroom spacious and so clean you would think they had replaced everything brand new. Our meals were tasty and very enjoyable, breakfast was well served. This is one place we will DEFINITLEY be returning to. Thank you Tregenna Castle.

A million thank yous!We stayed here at the latter end of October and was lucky enough to get married here!I cannot say how much the staff are dedicated and accommodating.Considering we were in the middle of a pandemic, the staff always looked happy and were eager to help to make the stay more enjoyable. The place was spotless and hand sanitizer was everywhere. They had nailed the whole thing-well done!I know we felt incredibly safe. Finally,a massive shout out to Harriet,Stephan and Jose who were working on the day of our wedding.I cannot fault these guys one bit.During these uncertain times,Harriet kept in contact and made arrangements for us under the constant changing guidelines. She is a absolute joy to deal with. Stephan made our day!!!Master of (restricted) cermonies, his enthusiasm was incredible and made us feel so special. All in all,Tregenna was an absolute dream!I wished I could remember all the names of the staff who we dealt with, because they were absolute diamonds. Hold on to your staff Tregenna because they are the heart of the resort! We can't wait to come back!!

2 night stay with a round of golfWe stayed at Tregenna Castle at the end of October & we cant fault the hotel in any way Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Plenty of sanitiser provided for guests & we felt completely safe. Our room was comfortable & our bathroom was spacious with a large bath. So different to the cramped en-suite in many hotels. Breakfast arrangements had been well thought out to comply with Covid safety, there was a more than adequate choice & the food was served quickly by helpful waiting staff. The golf course was in excellent condition & our round of golf was much enjoyed despite the rain. There is so much to enjoy in the grounds & being keen gardeners we loved walking through the well maintained gardens & woods noting the variety of trees, plants & shrubs, If only we could have stayed longer..... We will be back!

Beautiful Castle but food a let downCannot fault the beauty of this castle, especially when you first arrive. The man on the gate was very friendly and gave a wonderful first impression of the place and continued to do so throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the self catering apartments, which was more than adequate for our needs. A separate bathroom for each bedroom which was a nice touch, generally very cosy and bright. There was however no wifi at all throughout our stay and when asked at reception we just kept getting the same answer 'it is being worked on and will be up and running soon' which it never did and speaking to other guests they have had this problem for weeks so we would rather they just be honest. The other big let down was the food, on our first night we went for what we thought would be a lovey meal but after being ignored for half an hour after being taken to our table (didn't even get asked if we wanted a drink), two of our party of three didn't enjoy their meal at all. They ordered paella, one was seafood and one meat and they were both very similar. The seafood one had meat in it and hardly any seafood but in general they were not home made at all, just a basic 'out of a packet' meal and for the price of £21 extremely disappointing. The service wasn't great despite it not being overly busy for late on a Sunday evening and we physically had to go up to staff at the end to pay our bill, it was like we were invisible. We decided to eat out for the rest of our stay and there are plenty of places to do so which made up for it, just a shame as we would of eaten more in the castle. Overall, beautiful surroundings and we enjoyed our accommodation very much.
