Tranquility and good foodMy husband got me this 2 day getaway for my birthday and we were not disappointed. Right from the start Sharon greeted us, very friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean a very comfortable. The gardens were colourful and a delight to the eyes. The sound of chooks and the Alpacas in the grounds really made it feel like you were on a farm, just loved it. Breakfast very tasty and hot and we had a dinner one night which was beautifully cooked and presented. Value for money and would recommend. Lindy the owner was very helpful and easy to talk to. Great place to stay

A Peaceful secluded LocationWe stayed 3 nights at Trawool during June and whilst the weather was cold we were warm and toasty in front of the fire in our cottage. The cottage has everything you need and Bruce and Lindy bend over backwards to make sure you are well catered for. Lindy is a sublime cook and we thoroughly enjoyed her homestyle moorish cooking. The property is vast, and there are good walking tracks nearby. The cottage was well equipped for self catering, comfortable bed with ample towels. The heater was on awaiting our arrival, so lovely to be greeted with warmth and hospitality. Beautiful rural gardens and established trees provide a gorgeous view across the valley. We can thoroughly recommend this property for couples wanting to get away and escape the hustle and bustle of the suburbs.

Perfect escapeMy husband, puppy and I stayed in the house for 2 nights here. We loved it! Perfect place for some tranquility and escape from the crazy city! The hosts, Bruce and Lindy, were very obliging and welcoming. Didn't get a chance to meet Lindy but Bruce was great. We will definitely be back next time to try the cottages! Highly recommend, especially if you have pets!

Dog friendly, lovely cottage amid the greeneryOvernighting on our road trip with our young malamute, a great place to stop on the way south from Canberra, intending to drive down through the Yarra Valley and then to the Morninington Peninsula. Close to Seymour, which has lots of options for food - we took the young dog to the Royal Hotel, and sat in the beer garden. The cottage is self contained, bed very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, owners friendly. The gardens are lovely, unfortunately because we stayed only one night we didn't get to use the spa. Only downside - tank water with pump which makes the shower a little bit of a challenge in getting temperatures right - hence the "very good" rather than excellent. I would stay again.

A wonderful experience! We spent two nights as a couple and then on our third night, we were joined by our son, his partner and our granddaughter. We loved the location as soon as we arrived and were delighted with the homely atmosphere, the chooks, the llamas and the beautiful environment. We had a delicious breakfast first morning of freshly laid eggs and great bacon. The weather was rainy but we enjoyed the view and just chilled. The best was when the rest of the family arrived. Eight year old Astrid loved the llamas the koi, the frogs, the staffy dog and most of all, the spa and the beautiful garden setting. After she finally fell asleep, her father and his partner loved going back to the spa with candle-light. The stroll down to the Goulburn River the next morning capped off a wonderful three days. Thank you, Lyndy and Bruce for a fabulous stay. We are looking forward to our next stay with you!
