  Spotless pretty studios in gorgeous garden setting

  After a lovely friendly greeting from our hosts we were shown our apartment. Equipped with everything you need and spotlessly clean. One of the prettiest places weve stayed. A terrace looked over the beautiful patios and gardens and to the sea. Set just outside Poros and very quiet all we could hear was the gentle rolling of the waves. A 20 minute walk into Poros led to tavernas and a pebbly beach. Highly recommend

  lovely summer holiday

  My sister and I stayed at the Travlos Studios just last week for a week and it was quite lovely. It was a last minute booking and wow did we get lucky it was an absolute gem! The owners are just so lovely, friendly and helpful (which made all the difference), a really homely feel it was a real find. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone. The apartments are spacious, clean, air-conditioned (which was fab as it was bloody hot) and so pretty. There was a lovely courtyard for eating, drinking and socialising with lovely views of the beach. The town and harbor is a 20 minute walk with lovely views and plenty of places to eat and drink on the way.

  Fish eat people....

  Ok, good points first, modern, very clean, owner and wife lovely couple.. No pool, but we all knew that didn't we..? Shortcut to beach, for ninjas only, it's dodgy.. Walk to town 40 mins minimum, ok but not in 35 degrees, you need a car to move shopping, beach gear or snorkeling kit.. Wi fi, hopeless, no boosters in room, but standing on your head with your arm out the door helps.. All in all, a lovely place to stay, very quiet, one bad night, but owner quickly sorted that.. You just have to be realistic about your fitness, or get a car.. Poros is quiet, beach is pebbles, you need beach shoes, Restaurants ok but it's no katelios, supermarkets ,a couple, 45 mins walk from residence. Spent most of my time in katelios, using Yiannis boats and awesome restaurants.. I wouldn't go to poros again but you might like it...

  Like going back in time, beautiful , Spotless and very quiet

  Our room was cleaned everyday, beds changed once per week. Family run Hotel Vasilis, Elizabeth and their daughter all very friendly and caring. We arrived late afternoon had no shopping in, Vasilis insisted and took us to the nearest supermarket and arranged for transport back which on your first day in self catering property was amazing. The room was typically Greek although had more to it than your usual apartment, very tastefully furnished. Always a bonus; a full sized fridge. All of the tavernas are next to the beach all selling local grown food which is in season, beef, chicken, lamb, pork, fruit and veg. Travlos Studios is situated in Poros east of the Island. I would recommend a car as there is lots to see and do. We were grateful of the car after walking two times a day up a steep hill to the studio, you certainly no you are alive when you get to the top. Poros beach is stony so take beach shoes. Sea very warm and inviting.

  Thankyou Vasilias for making a wonderful, much needed 11day break even better. Your unobtrusive kindness and help with random queries, your humour and warmth were all greatly valued by us. Beautifully clean, wonderfully tranquil as promised. True Greek hospitality at its best. Ros & Ruth - the girls !
