Descripción general

Located just 0.1 miles from Windsor museum and a short walk from Windsor Castle, the hotel’s location is absolutely spot-on for getting the most out of this beautiful and historic town. And if you fancy a few thrills during your stay then Thorpe Park is only 9 miles away, offering rides and roller-coasters. Alternatively, if you’re looking for hotels near Legoland, this hotel is an ideal choice, as it's located only 3 miles away from this family-friendly day out. Located right next to Windsor and Eton Central train station and 9 miles from Heathrow Airport, Windsor Central Hotel is tremendously close to a wide range of local attractions and places of interest. The floor was dirtier than the street outside

I had a pointless super room, the power shower is no such thing, the pillows were less comfortable than the normal ones. It is not worth the extra cost. The windows are constantly covered in condensation and i had to use the spare towel to mop them twice a day - leaving them open made no difference. The floor was so dirty I was genuinely shocked, my light coloured socks were dark grey after just an hour of walking around

    Amazing customer service

Asked for my breakfast to be taken to my room; the staff very extremely busy providing table service during COVID and it was half term but despite this I received amazing service. The lady provided me with a tray full of food, plus all the extras, butter, Nutella, jam, milk ect and then opened the door for me. The cleaner kindly took my empty food tray and helped when I couldnt get into my room. Honestly didnt expect this kind of friendliness and helpfulness. Thank you :)

    Lovely stay

Great stay, lovely friendly staff, great location. Everything you need from a hotel. Stayed here whilst visiting legoland which was perfect location. Shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Cant fault this hotel and will definitely return.

Not wheelchair friendly and rude staff

The lift was broken and with my husband in a wheelchair we needed access, the receptionist on duty was rather rude and said i guess ill need to let you use the staff lift something she said with sarcastic tone and i wasnt to keen on as we passed through the linen room full of dirty linen, the staff where not very helpful during our stay moaning and groaning about going out of their way to help (is that not your job to go out of your way for a guest in need!), the room was good but nothing special no comfy chairs, no breakfast service even for a teir 2 i expected table service breakfast to be served like other hotels do. All in all very poor customer service but close to shops and restaurants wouldnt recommend wheelchair users more suitable for business stays.

    Appalling

I stayed at travelodge with my family one of which is an employee of yours. Open arriving we was greeted at reception was told our car park ticket was stamped and we went to the room. When entering the room I went to the bathroom to see a very very stained toilet to which I know you can get rid of having been a cleaner myself for many years. The pillows were stained and lumpy, I tried to make a coffee using the coffee machine that leaked everywhere boiling water which my 6 year old grandson next to it colouring and next to a plug very dangerous. I left to go shopping and complain at reception nobody was there I went to the car park as I was leaving for something and I had to pay full price on parking when I was told its discounted. Later that evening I come back to find the whole level 6 stank of cannabis to which I went to complain no one was there again no staff to be seen. My 6 year old grandson was coughing cuz of the strong smell. I got into bed to settle for the night to then hear screaming so loud like a fight or something was happening which woke my grandson up and I couldnt sleep all night due to the constant noise and outside noise which we was told our rooms are quiet. No staff again to be seen or patrolling the smell or noise. All in all it was appalling a time away should of been nice instead was awful due to the hotel experience. We usually stay in Maidenhead but wanted to try the super rooms in Windsor which was just not worth the money one bit would not recommend this hotel definitely go back to Maidenhead.
