  Birthday Celebrations

  We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights to celebrate a family birthday all ok till we had a gift bag with expensive jumper wine and set of spanners( my sons a keen DIY MAN) disappeared no one at the hotel can explain it or help customer services are non existent the stand in manager - as manager is on long term sick leave didnt bother returning our calls. Her answer was just report it to the police how helpful Do not use this hotel obviously corrupt staff yup you enjoyed the wine and the £150 jumper keeps you warm this winter Thanks for nothing

  Avoid this hotel

  Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Breakfast discusting, cold, staff dont know how to toast bread!!! So called manager has aggressive controlling manner who should not be in charge of anything never mind a leisure offer. I have used travel lodge for years with no problems. I will now never use this company. Horrendous!

  Perfectly adequate

  The room I was initially booked into had three basic maintenance issues: 1. very low water pressure, meaning hot water took a few minutes to dribble from the tap. 2. Non-functioning TV remote. 3. Leak from the base of the toilet. Issues such as these should preclude the room from being available. However, the staff were helpful and friendly and quickly found me another room. Reasonably quiet location, although one wing of the building is above a Dominos pizza outlet which seems to attract young men driving cars with fart cans. This is a larger than average Travelodge, with meandering corridors, although signage is good so easy enough to find rooms and the way out.

  Relaxing

  This was the next best thing to not going to lanzarote as we love Stratford Upon Avon and what better place to stay then in a Travelodge. Free parking and plenty of it nice room as you'd expect TV could be a bit larger the restrictions in place due to covd19 were great and adhered to and a special shout out to Mia an absolute professional in her role as front of staff and very helpful and knowledgeable.

  Good budget hotel

  Booked family room last minute using my credit voucher after a cancellation back in April due to Covid Lockdown. Good size carpark with free parking, never struggled for a space. There is a Tesco and an Aldi just two minutes away (very handy). Hotel was clean and tidy, no staff on reception until 3pm though (just a number to call). Room entry card was very unreliable, we had to get this fixed several times during our stay. Masks required inside public areas due to Covid rules but not all guests adhered to this and I never witnessed staff questioning this. Breakfast to be booked the day before and a time slot is then allocated to keep to social distancing rules and numbers down in the restaurant. Breakfast is still buffet style but you stay seated and a staff member collects your food/drink for you. Stratford Upon Avon centre 20 mins on foot or 5 mins in the car. Overall we had a good weekend away on a budget.
