  Really good hotel

  Everyone complains like they payed £300. What do you expect when you pay £30. Stayed here many times with no issues. Staff are very nice and friendly. Rooms are always very clean. Parking is not the best if you arrive late as most spaces will be gone. Other than that this hotel is really good.

  Run down awful hotel

  Run down hotel, mold in rooms and bathroom , broken door, staff hoovering and banging before 8am! Fire alarm went off at 8.30am. bed unbelievably uncomfortable, with a dip in the middle and shape edges on outside, when people came up the stairs then through the door it would slam and shake our door keeping us up all night, extremely noisey outside, morning staff on the Sunday basically grunted at us!

  Good value, excellent staff and location

  I have not used Travelodge for many years because most of my travels have been abroad. With Covid-19 that is no longer easy so I will concentrate on the UK for a while and, based on my stay at Southampton, Travelodge will be my accommodation of choice. The hotel itself shows a few signs of age but it is clean and comfortable. The staff are all excellent. The location was perfect for me because there are bus stops close by and I left my car in the hotel car park during my five night stay. There is a more central Travelodge in Southampton but I preferred the location of the one on Lodge Road. There is a Lidl supermarket and Dominos Pizza across the road. Recommended.

  Great Value for Money

  Stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights because of work. Great value for money. Rooms very clean, friendly and helpful staff, nice location near bus stop, Lidl supermarket, dominos pizza. Definitely will be staying here next time.

  Lovely hotel

  Arrived late in the evening meet at receptionist lady and she was very helpful and informative. All felt very COVID secure masks and shielding etc. Over all a very pleasant stay. Room was very clean and staff were all very friendly and helpful, really enjoyed the few days in here.
