  Dormir a precio razonable y nada más

  Hotel típico Travelodge junto a un nudo de carreteras en Newbury, cerca de Oxford. Habitaciones un poco justas de espacio, limpias, idénticas a otros hoteles de la cadena y simpático personal de recepción. Pagué servicio de wifi (3 euros por día) para los tres miembros de la familia pero solo se pudo conectar uno. Hay un McDonald's junto al hotel que tiene un gran éxito.

  Unexpected Stay

  We broke down outside the travelodge at Tot Hill. We were not expecting to stay but we were made welcome and they had a decent family room with good beds for the children and comfy bed for us. Everything was very clean. Thank you.

  horrible stay!!

  We stayed at newbury tothill after staying at Littlehampton travelodge, After very little greetin I was given a key (this was not cleaned before giving it too me like it was in tge other travelodge) went to tge room which looked like the two travel cots were just thrown in the room, no sheets either and an extra single bed, after asking for tge bed to be removed as it did not need to be there, tge person who was on reception seemed very reluctant but did put the bed away. The floor was gross it had not been hoovered, there were handprints all over the door mirror and the bathroom had an overwhelming smell of pee! I had to buy flash wipes to clean the bedroom and bathroom before my family (1year old twins, 4yr old daughter and my husband) could even get out of the car! Considering your websites boast how well you are coping with the current covid situations THIS TRAVELODGE IS NOT!! not in our room anyway.. yes I did see the same guy who gave me the key spraying the doors but I can guarantee the room was not cleaned to standard at all! I have also taken photos which I will be more than willing to share with management should they wish to contact me! The only thing I regret apart from choosing travelodge is wasting the money on two nights and not cancelling as soon as we got into the room but after travelling the children needed somewhere to sleep!

  Great Location

  Nice clean hotel. McDonalds and Starbucks on site which is great. Swindon 30 mins drive away for the big designer outlet. Highclere caslte 5 mins away. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Would stay here again.

  Dead insects in bathroom

  Large cobwebs in bedroom and dead crickets/grasshoppers in bathroom suggest cleaning standards are low and not carried out very often. No plug sockets next to bed means charging phones is not convenient. Electrical whine from radiator when plugged into wall, and no phone in bedroom means these issues cannot be raised with reception without having to walk all through the hotel.
