  Get what you pay for

  Its a two star hotel, so to be fair I wasnt excepting much. One positive thing is that the owners/desk people are extremely kind, friendly and helpful. This is also the only place I could find that allows pets. Over all it wasnt horrid, its just not great. As other reviews mentioned and Ill confirm, the room did in fact reek of cigarette smoke. Even though it did say non smoking. Twas a nightmare for my sinuses and gave me a migraine. The biggest problem though is that its just not clean. The mattress cover was dull of stains. Headboards were covered in dust. Blanket was either burned or in fact also filthy. Dont walk on the carpet barefoot.

  Clean and Fun !!!

  Visited the Berkshires last week. Scorching heat & humidity, was thrilled the pool was so inviting. It and the beautiful sun and shade area around pool is cleaned, several times a day. There is a grill for guest to grill if inclined, as all rooms have a fridge and microwave and coffee maker. The room was very clean, the beds, 2 dbls, had fresh top sheets applied to the coverlet, perfect for A/C room temp, very comfortable. This is a super spot close to everything. A walk of 200' has you at a Mc Donalds, Big y Grocery and retail stores. Plenty of places to eat, local & chains across the street. Kay and all the Family are lovely , helpful people !!! Great Spot for the price !!

  Best place in Great Barrington

  We had the best vacation at this Travelodge. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was so very nice and have excellent service. It was nice and quiet and the neighbors are very friendly as well. It is definitely a family friendly place that I plan to go back to very soon. If you are visiting Great Barrington or anywhere around it I recommend this place.

  Not very clean at all.

  Tissues, trash, crumbs all around the bed and nightstand. Not super reassuring during this time. I never stayed somewhere that had trash like that it was gross. Wouldnt recommend staying here honestly.

  Not a recommended place to stay. Yes its a typical cheap motel but even those kind offers a morning coffee. Here you get two pouches of low grade coffee pod when you check in with two pkts. of creamer sugar and stirrer. Lucky if you have a coffee maker in room. Mine was missing so had to ask for one at front desk. Told the previous boarder must have stole it. That gives you a sense of the kind of people who stays there.
