Barbados Travellers PalmVery good apartments with a great swimming pool in Holetown. Visited in October. Rooms have Aircon, spacious and quiet. Close to the main shops by car (within 5 mins) walking (10-15 mins). I would happily book again. Staff very helpful.

HolidayWould not recommend to my worst enemy,a massive lack of upgrading for an obviously long time meant:blocked toilets for two days, tvs & internet not working, dirty rooms, water supply off for 2days.A lack of staff on site, who when they appeared were reactive ,rather than proactive, not fault of staff but clearly an owner who no longer cares about their clients. What it did offer was good value in comparison to other prooerties but at a considerable risk to your health and well being.

Not as describedBooked 14 nights .Definately Not as described. Came over with the intention of looking to buy . I complained to Expedia who were able to get me a refund for the nights not used . I had to stay there for the duration of my quarantine period but then moved out. One apartment has been renovated , but it is the show apartment and not available to book . The owner really needs to sort the place out as it is not acceptable

A great budget hotel for self cateringThose in the know, come back here again and again. Its not suitable if you looking for a beach front hotel, its not suitable if you looking for a good 3 star hotel/apt, hoping for a 4 star accommodation. You paid the bulk of your holiday on the flight and taxes to get to Barbados. What you get is access to some of the best safest beaches in the world, you get a basic self catering Apt . Its big, theres plenty of room to hang your clothes. There is a cooker, a fridge, a kettle, pots and pans , a iron board and iron .A dining table , a lounge and a sizeable bedroom . The shower and bathroom works fine and finally if anything is missing the housekeeper will get it for you , towels and linen, she does her best. It up to you how you dress the apt up, you can live out of your suitcase or make it look like the 5 star room you want, you just bring it from home if you want Morton and Brown . You dont need to hire a car. But cut out two meals from a beach front restaurant and that saving pays for a car for a week and boy that gives you access to the whole island that you can cover in a day if you want. Drop your bags and head to the supermarket and get your milk and fresh orange juice. bread and bacon as soon as you arrive, then go to Zaccios, over the road from the supermarket for the cheapest banana Daiquiris within there happy hour with that 5 star view you bought your ticket for and hopefully a sunset to match. Go to the fish markets and get the catch of the day. Then go home and cook, as you have been all learning to be better cooks as you havent been able to go to a restaurant and if you dont want to cook , you will notice the locals standing behind these little vans, alongside the road side. They have the best Caribbean food on the island and it costs you £10 instead of £50 (average restaurant price each ) and if you feel the need for table and chairs with your local food, jump on a two dollar bus to Speightown town and head to the Fishmans Inn. Now back home Im sure we all like dressing up and having a posh meal Im no different, but here there is a hefty surcharge for the view you dont have back at home. Dont look whats on the plate and say no way £25 to £30 for a shepherds pie at say Lonestar, its the polish and the view you paying for, that you didnt get from this apt. It took me 15 years to get up the nerve to go to the Cliff, so put off by all the bad reviews, and to be honest I agree with the exception of Sunday afternoon with the band and I was sold and so will you. Just think £15 in your head as a entry fee( there is no entry fee at the door ) and nightclub price drinks and food and when they drop the bill in front of you, you will know you are paying for the entertainment and stunning views included in your food bill and again not what is on the plate, its a one Michelin star bill, just stack it up in the manner I propose and its value for money. Best restaurant locally to you is Tides and girls make sure your man packs a jacket to match the dress you will be wearing for this venue. This island can be very expensive if you want it to be and if you are not careful. Ive been coming to this part of the island and this apt for over 20 years now. If the kettle breaks dont moan, boil the water in the saucepan, there is a million dollar beach waiting for you at Sandy lane and its free, they pay £250 a night in Sandy lane , take a towel and swim with the turtles. Each of us have there favourite spots in the world, Spain , Turkey, Greece etc , which I know from experience have some beautiful places, but mine is here. Very much miss you Barbados, but we will all be back soon , whos coming back with me?
