Very dirt and 20 years old bed sheets, carpets and towelsWe had two double room. Very bed smell due to old carpets and furniture. Bed sheets, curtains, carpets and towels extremely worn. Other's room bathroom window opens in our balcony. Owner cats playing on the kitchens tables. Spider nets all over: dining, kitchen, stairs, rooms, balcony. Broken closet doors on arrival - repaired only after several request. I need to be very specific - is among the "top 3" worst places I ever stayed in the world. We are extremely dissapointed. I traveled with my wife and our teenage children. Rooms area 13 and 14sqm, far away from the "~20 sqm" as in the travel agency presentation. For sure DERTOUR should revise their contracts with this pension in order to assure tourists they care about.

Great journey but...We stayed 7 days in Kaprun at Trauner Pension. First, at the check in we received a room that was terrible and dirty. After a small discusion between us, our agency and the owner of the Trauner Pension they gave us a better room. It was clean and ok. But, after some discussions with other romanian guests, we realised that this is the policy of the hotel: the worst rooms are given to the romanian guests. Of course, if you don't say anything. Beside these, the breakfast was the same all the week, but the dinner was ok and with different types of international quisine. You should be carreful if you want to drink something at dinner. Everething must be paid which is ok, but you don't have any meniu with the prices and nobody inform you that the drinks are or nor included in the dinner. More over, the lady that served us spoke only german. You will find out how much the drinks cost at the end of your holiday at the check out. I guess they are very nationalists because all the international chanels were in german....no english or other langues. A positiv thing is that they have a german chanel with a live transmision with the conditions of the slopes and the wheather. It would be better if they pay attention to the details and if they have a better comunication with the guests. It is a small familly pension.

The hotel olicy: the worst rooms are given to the romanian guestsWe stayed 7 days in Kaprun at Trauner Pension. We received the room number 31 that was dirty, with old furniture, squeaky bed, worn towels, worn sheets. After some discussions with other guests, we realized that this is the policy of the hotel: the worst rooms are given to the Romanian guests. The lady that served us spoke only German. We were very very disappointed because this is not the quality that we expected to find in Austria. It would be better if they pay attention to the details and if they have a better communication with the guests. I do not recommend the Trauner Pension.

Disappointing boardinghouseWe booked here a three bed room with half-board for 7 days. The room was average, old furniture, there were holes in the bed sheets, the first towels that we had were ok, but then when these were changed we received some that were pretty worn-out and smelling sulky. Breakfast was ok, but it seems that the fruits compote and the yoghurt that we received at breakfast were not always fresh, as on some days the fruits were a little fermented and the yoghurt was too sour. Dinner seemed in the first 2-3 evenings ok, especially the Kaiserschmarrn was delicious, but on the third night I had a little indigestion and when I talked with other guests, I learned that almost from every room someone had something with the stomach: indigestion, diarrhea, vomiting, a little girl had enterocolitis and her parents brought her to the hospital, where she was kept for the whole night. Beside this, one evening, as I wanted to give my son something to drink I saw that the glass in which the waitress brought us the water was dirty, so I asked her to bring us another glass, but also this was not perfectly clean. The top of everything was on the last night when we came to dinner and I was that at my son's place there was cat hair on the table cloth. I asked the waitress to change it, but also on the new one there was some cat hair, so I assumed that probably the cat, that we saw sometimes in the kitchen and also in the dining room, was sleeping in the same place where the table cloths were kept. As a consequence of the treatment we had there, on the last night there were tourists only at three tables left (out of 7), all the others left earlier. All in all I wouldn't go there again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
