  Worst Motel Ever

  I am a small business owner. My business has me and my staff providing service all over the province of BC. We stay at a lot of motels around the province. This is the first place where i have booked my staff at and the conditions of this facility were HORRIBLE. We are not picky people. The beds were made with very dirty sheets and bed linens. The bathroom may have never been cleaned before. When we brought this to the attention of management they told us this is a budget motel and what do you expect. We expect a clean room and a clean bed to sleep in. We checked out immediately did not stay even one night. We were charged for one night stay. Should you choose to stay at this facility i recommend you get all vaccines

  Do not use

  Well where do I start with this one. My family and I (6 including 2 young children) booked into this motel for a night and we were glad it was only one night. We found the fridge wet and musty as someone had turned it off and wasnt turned back on again, therefore we couldnt use it for the childrens milk. The basin was opposite the bathroom door and therefore you had to wash your hands in the bath before touching the door handle. Above the basin there was 4 light unit but only had 1 bulb in the socket above this basin, leaving 3 open/uncovered sockets. Luckily these exposed sockets were too high for the children to put their hands/fingers into them, however the basin was not fixed the the worktop and it moved as it was filled. Once you started to drain the basin, it leaked on to the vinyl floor causing a very slippery surface. Also the cold tap top was broken nearly in half. The only window was next to the front door and you could get your hand between the two window sections very easily. The door was extremely tight in the frame due to building movement or wood swelling and the chain lock could not be used as it wasnt complete and wouldnt work. The coffee machine still had the previous occupants coffee and filter (which hadnt been cleaned) and the coffee pot was dirty, hence we didnt use it. It was mentioned to the manager who blamed the house keeper for not cleaning the filter (and thats all he did regarding the coffee machine) and took the old filter and coffee away, and turned the fridge on. He tightened the waste pipe and put a few buckets under the sink just in case of more leaks !! They mopped the floor with just a mop (no detergent, fresh water or even a mop bucket) actually they just spread the waste water around!!!! The toilet door handle was coming away from the door and we were concerned that someone could get stuck in there. This room was advertised for 4 adults but there were only 2 chairs and so you had to sit on the beds however if you sat on the end of the bed, it tipped up. We tried to see someone again on the day of departure but even though the sign said the office was open, the door was locked and nobody was around. This room cost $238 for the night which was very expensive for what we got but there were activities in the area but still we had stayed in other hotels/motels during our trip (in the same town) with much better quality and that were cheaper. Final advice - DO NOT USE We have stayed in several hotels/motels/inns during our tour of the west and this was by far the worse and virtually the dearest.

  Don't believe positive reviews

  I acknowledge that this motel is cheap but don't believe any positive reviews. We were staying in a room upstairs at the back. Climbing the rusted stairs we luckily made it to the top without them collapsing. We were greeted by a full ashtray next to the door of the room. When we entered the room it stunk. The plastic flowers didn't help remove the smell. The coffee pot had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. The bathroom door was falling apart and would not close. Didn't bother to check if the bed was clean. We were in the room for about 10 minutes before walking out and staying in another hotel.

  Gross!

  When we went to unlock the door, the door just swung open. Inside there were water Mark's on the washroom ceiling and MOLD in the coffee maker. The only reason I slept was because the mattress and box spring looked new. We would NEVER stay there again.

  Exellent rooms and service

  The staff was really nice and helped when in need would come back anytime this is a great motel that gives a friendly vibe in the rooms great place to stay! We checked in with out kids and was a smooth process everything and made us feel welcome
