  Great hotel in a convenient location

  Great location for anything you want to do in Winter Park. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The provided breakfast was high quality and the coffee is awesome. Rooms were clean and spacious. Only downside (and this is a minor complaint) was the bed comfort. One neat aspect of this property is that it's partnered with Devil's Thumb Ranch, so you can head out there for a great dinner!

  Rooms are small but hotel is clean, modern and quiet.

  We appreciated this hotel in Winter Park. It was clean and modern with stylish rooms. The rooms are a bit small compared to other hotels and the hotel is a bit more expensive than it's probably worth but nice enough. Located along the main road through town but it was quiet.

  Wonderful stay!

  The staff were just wonderful and so helpful! They gave us ideas of things to see and places to eat. They were quickly attentive to everything we asked for. We enjoyed that they had several Trek bikes that we could use for free to enjoy the 6 mile Fraser River trail that went right next to the hotel. Although this is an older hotel, they have kept it up very well and the beds were comfy. Very clean as well. The breakfast was mostly fruit and packaged sweets like muffins, but things are limited due to COVID. We would stay here again!

  Fabulous stay in the 2-bedroom fireplace suite

  We stayed in the 2-bedroom fireplace suite for one night, traveling up from Denver to see the fall colors in the mountains. When my wife looked for lodging and suggested this place, I immediately dismissed it when I looked on Google and saw that it looked like a standard motel. But this place is anything but standard! When I actually looked at the inn's website and saw the rooms, my mind was quickly changed. There were 4 of us (3 adults, one child), so we opted for the largest suite to allow the adults (one couple, plus mother in law) to have separate rooms. The suite was GIGANTIC! It literally felt like we were staying in a large apartment. The two separate bedrooms were spacious, and then the separate living room and kitchen were both also enormous. Even the bathroom was large, with both a shower and jetted tub (which our daughter loved). And the place was nicely renovated and decorated. We stayed less than 24 hours, but though we ostensibly went to the mountains to explore and see the fall colors, we ended up spending most of our time inside our suite, because it was so luxurious. We relaxed with a round of adult beverages, used the indoor pool and hot tub, and then ordered in pizza (Elevation Pizza in Fraser is awesome). This suite is right on the main road through town (Hwy 40), but there was no road noise. The bedroom that shared a wall with another room on the other side, however, has thin walls, and we could hear (and were even awoken by at one point) the guests in that room. That was the only negative at all. A really great surprise, when we were expecting a run of the mill motel stay. Will definitely stay again!

  Very clean, convenient, affordable stay!

  Right in the mix (walkable to restaurants, bars, grocery, and public transportation.) The hotel is an old "roadside motel" that has been brought back to life, and an additional newer style hotel - you have a choice of exterior entrances or interior hallways. I selected a room with an exterior entrance during COVID times, but the whole property seemed very clean. We were told there was an inside pool, and that we could access the lobby and pool changing room if our room wasn't available for early check in (as we had a wedding to get to.) Coffee and fruit and packaged pastries were available for breakfast, and we noticed a local coffee shop right next door as well. Our room had 2 separate sleep areas, each with a queen bed and television, separated by a bathroom and closet area. It was very quiet for being so close to the road. Parking was adequate and we parked right in front of our room. Heat and shades and mini fridge and bedside lights were all very nice. Michael was so friendly and helpful when I made our reservation. And the gentleman who checked us in and out was also very nice. There was adequate plexiglass shielding, line-queue markings, and required mask signage for safety. We will definitely stay here again.
