  Quiet, simple and clean

  This complex is in North Cairns but walking distance to the shopping centre or Esplanade. It's very quiet, the other guests were very considerate, the apartments were quiet and it felt like hardly anyone was there, although the car park indicated otherwise. Wayne was very accommodating to our needs and very helpful with any questions we had. We had an apartment at the front of the complex which was sunny, but had road noise during the day, although this quietened down after about 6pm. The apartment had everything we needed, with enough plates and cutlery etc to get us through. The saucepans were very good quality and I was impressed. It's not particularly fancy, but is good, clean accommodation. I would stay there again.

  GREAT VALUE

  Having just spent 8 nights here attending our sons soccer tournament we could not be more happy with our choice. The room was renovated, 2 bedroom and fully self contained. Our kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the bbq area. While the property is located in North Cairns it is close to shops/restaurants and an easy walk to the foreshore. Overall Tradewinds McLeod offers no frills, value for money accommodation and I doubt you would find anything better for the price.

  Winter in Cairns

  First time to Cairns and this apartment was just perfect for our family of 4. Though the pool was very cold, we still managed to dip in each day. The beds were comfortable with no sag that you often get in budget accommodation. Also we loved this location - so close to town but far enough from the busy main strip to feel relaxed.

  Great apartment, close to supermarket. Recliner chairs. Helpful, friendly staff

  Modern furniture, recliner chairs in lounge, fully equipped kitchen, convenient to esplanade which is hub of cairns at night also night time markets every night. Staff friendly and helpful. Got cheaper prices to aquarium and kuranda rail & skyrail from tradewinds office. Has washing machine n dryer i unit which was handy after 2weeks travelling

  Great Stay

  We stayed in a apartment close to the pool area. It was on ground level which was easy as I have a toddler. The apartment was fairly clean. We did have to wash dishes before using them as they were not very clean. We swam in the pool which was enjoyable especially by the kids! Location was great as it was close to everything that we needed. Surprisingly traffic noise was minimal. Customer service was good and the price is worth paying when you book direct with them. We will definitely be coming back.
