  Friendly Staff - Good Business Hotel

  We always stay with Toyoko Inns when travelling through Japan. Not only is it pretty cheap, you also get free breakfast and pretty fast wifi. Staff were always friendly whether you were checking in, getting breakfast or needing to ask something. They had a good range of resources for the surrounding area and were always happy to help. We spoke Japanese but many of the staff also speak basic English at the minimum. It is in a good location and easy to get to. We had a car so great carpark option. It is a budget hotel so don't go expecting the Ritz. All of their hotels whether its brand new or 30 years old all have the same decor so once you get over that then its perfectly fine. Rooms were nothing huge but with a bit of adjustments you can arrange your luggage. There is space under the bed to store big suitcases but as we were only there for one night we left them out. It had Tea/Coffee facilities along with a small fridge and TV. Bathrooms were the standard Japanese Pods that most hotels seem to have. Everything was very clean and we can't really fault it. If you're looking for a place to sleep with some extra add ons then this is the place. The pillows are traditional Japanese (half rice / half fluff) but as we had learnt from last time to bring our own pillows we slept very well. The pillows are fine but if you are a sensitive sleeper then pack your own or pick one up if you are planning to stay in several of them. I would stay here again, as I would with the rest of the Toyoko Inn Range.

  typical businness hotel in a good location

  It is true this is a typical business hotel where mostly all the guests were businessmen . Rooms are small with a nice functional bathroom pod. Breakfast was in the lobby and basic light Japanese style. Coffee is served via a machine. Staff extremely helpful as always. The location is great a short walk to the Peace Park and museum. All in all functional with out much charm,,which is fine given the very reasonable price

  Not a bad location, standard Toyoko trimmings

  As most of the other reviews point out - the Toyoko Inn hotels are virtually identical no matter where you stay. To me, that's part of the attraction - I know I'm going to get a clean room, breakfast, and a hotel in a reasonable location for a good rate. I don't expect a 5-star 'Ritz' hotel and nor do I want one. A hotel is a place to sleep, get cleaned up and store your luggage whilst you explore. Breakfast is the standard Japanese fare - miso soup, triangular rice cakes, pickled vegetables, tea and coffee. The only downside to this hotel is that it's a fair walk from Hiroshima train station and from the Peace Park.

  Good location business style hotel

  Well located on peace avenue within walking distance of peace park museum and nearby nightlife and shopping district. Hotel itself is a chain business basic hotel mainly catering for Japanese. I stayed here with tour group for 2 nights and it was fine. Room is small but clean and quiet. Appreciate the washing machine and dryer to do all my washing for a small cost. Breakfast was OK stick with the Japanese food items as western breads were awful. Convenience stores are nearby.

  Business hotel with basic necessities and great location

  This hotel is Western-style. It has washer-dryer off the lobby and close to the elevators. Breakfast was included and it was OK. It was a good experience to stay at a typical business hotel. The location is really good. You can walk to/from the Peace Park. It's very close to the red district (literally a block away).
