  Toyoko Inn delivers!

  Toyoko Inn, as a chain, offers a similar acommodation in their hotels and this one is also a great budget hotel - breakfast included. The rooms are bigger than the standard Japanese budget hotels, and very comfortable. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

  Budget hotel

  Standard Tokyo Inn experience. Budget accommodations, clean small rooms, minimal breakfast (included in room price). Upper floors have expansive views since there arent many tall buildings around. Main detriment is that theres only one elevator for a 12-story hotel. So plan on waiting during busy times. Strangely, theres a video camera in the elevator that displays on a monitor above the elevator doors on the ground floor. You can see people entering and leaving the elevator on the upper floors. Also, there aren't enough tables in the breakfast area during busy times. Our room safe didnt work.

  Standard Toyoko Inn quality, good for the price

  Located almost next to the station (though you can't hear the trains), this is a perfectly serviceable budget accommodation. Front desk spoke an adequate level of English to help with checkin and out process and did so with a smile. Breakfast is complementary. Parking is available here, but if you want to get a spot outside, best to do so before the check-in time of 3 or 4pm - although they provide garage parking, where you drive your car in, and the machinery then lifts your car and slots it somewhere in its interior. When you leave your hotel, you will need to leave your front key with reception. Strangely, our room wasn't cleaned, with our fresh towels left in a bag hanging on the door knob. Considering how every hotel so far has provided cleaning on a daily basis (unless asked not to), this anomaly is a little unusual. No other complaints otherwise.

  Excellent location, breakfast a notch above other Toyoko's

  It seems that a Toyoko Inn review needs to start with an understanding that Toyoko's are inexpensive business hotels that are functional and convenient. And this is how they should be evaluated. Second, it is important to understand the difference between an inexpensive hotel and a "cheap" hotel. Toyoko's are not cheap. They are clean, safe, and professional. US citizens would be surprised and impressed. This Toyoko stands out because of helpful staff (staff are pretty consistently helpful at all Toyoko's) and spoke English quite well. The breakfast was clearly a notch above other Toyoko's. Examples during the 3 days we were there: rice with shimeji mushnrooms, soba with mizuna, tamagoyaki, juice (in some but not all Toyoko's), rice porridge and curry, in addition to the staples. Within a minute, you can shop at the bus terminal gift shop that has a lot to offer even if small, and a block behind the hotel is a hardware store. The proximity to the train station makes this a highly desirable hotel not just to visit the city but also the surrounding area.

  Awful

  Rooms are ok, but the staffs and their policy are terrible. They have ridiculous policies to snatch your money. A terrible business hotel. I will never go back and i bet others don't either. That is why you will always find empty rooms here. Please stay away from this hotel!
