  Clean rooms near the centre

  We were greeted by a friendly host and allocated a room just inside the main entrance. Nice clean room with a Spa and it seemed that care had been taken over presentation. It does need air conditioning as the road noise is an issue if windows are open.

  Very disappointed. Dated

  We booked in and must of been the lady's daughter, that must do the booking was quite rude when we were booking in. And the lady on reception this morning was not friendly at all. The place is very very dated,the photos on the internet are very misleading. We seen they had a spa and after a hard day we were looking forward to it and it was a small dated bath,not a bigger one like in the picture had. Had rails hanging off the wall. The fridge made noises all night and keeped us awake most of the night,that we almost packed up and left . I told the tell the lady this morning and she really care that we had no sleep. Said she would tell Barry and walked off. It was super hot and we wanted to put the heater on with the fan to cool us down. But it was so noisy we couldn't keep it on when we were sleeping, so we then we could hear the fridge all night long. So disappointed and a waste of money. We would of liked part of our money back.We would not recommend anyone to saty here. But the man cleaner was lovely and my partner talk to him this morning.

  Welcome to the (early) 70s

  Although our room at this motel was spacious and clean and the host was pleasant enough, the decor was extremely dated and the furnishings extremely well-worn. It didnt affect our stay per se but it could have been so much better with just a few updates. The morning light woke us very early because the drapes are so thin.

  Excellent value

  First time stay. Genuine friendly check in, well appointed bathroom, comfortable bed, kitchen had everything, easy access to city centre, 4 minutes walk to aquatic centre. Great value for money. Would stay again

  Clean and Spacious

  Firstly I must say, check in was great, greeted by a lovely young lady who was very helpful. Room was very spacious and whilst dated well appointed and clean. My only gripe would be the road noise. We were in unit 5 and it was next level. The 3 nights we were there we hardly got much sleep at all, then you combine this with the boy racers on a sat night made our days very long and tiring. To be fair though any motel along evens street would have the same problem. Was very close to the aquatic centre, 5 min walk. Would I stay again..... most prob not because of the noise factor only! The actual unit was fine but the noise was a massive issue for us.
