  Friendly Front Desk but Hotel looks Weathered

  The people at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. It was clean but old. The hotel looks very worn down. The rugs are old and look worn-out. The heating unit never worked well. At night, when all of the lights were off, there was literally a mini static electricity storm in my blankets. They had an indoor pool, which was very convenient to warm up for JOs. Again, the staff was great, especially at the front desk. They were the best part of the hotel.

  Friendly service and good spacious room

  The check in at 1 am was easy, friendly and prompt. The front desk staff was courteous and knowledgable. The hotel was right in between another Marriott and a commercial distribution centre. One side of the hotel's room could possibly be more quiet than the other side as the side facing the other business had a lot of trucks passing by (but when we were walking around the property late at night and early in the morning for our dog, we did not notice a big difference). We stayed at the side where facing the other Marriott, our comment was it was a quite neighbourhood. Wal-mart and gas station is within 2 minutes drive. A plaza is within walking distance with several restaurants as well and a few big name retailers. The hotel was right off the highway where it was easy access. Location is also about 15 mins drive right to the heart of downtown York where a lot more unique restaurants are located. You can choose to access via highway or local traffic. Overall, the hotel was well maintained, the room was clean with all amenities promised. The kitchen was fully functional. We felt safe walking our dog in the night time around the property as well. Complimentary breakfast was good; it lacked variety but the quality and quantity were both adequate. There was also small kitchen appliances available for you to borrow and a BBQ outside that you can use to cook your own meal! Work station at lobby allows you to access internet and print documents. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to friends and family.

  Wonderful staff

  Staff are very gracious, friendly, helpful. Economy-level extended stay motel with somewhat run-down stairwells/halls, thin doors (not good for loud neighbors), smallish rooms featuring kitchen areas w/ full-size fridge, dishwasher, two-burner rangetop, microwave, dishes, glassware, cutlery, pans, toaster, coffee maker. TV has some cable choices, free wifi. Good A/C. Small dresser, closet with luggage rack. So-so bedding. Bathrooms w/ basic toiletries. Free parking, low traffic flow, industrial area w/plenty of nearby large chain store retail.

  Friendly staff but the Hotel looks old

  I stay at this place almost 7 days a month for last 6 months. The Staff is very Friendly and COVID safe. However hotel looks old the carpets in front of elevator has stains and needs replacement. Close to shopping, walking distance

  Sad to say that this property is not only tired, but downright sleepy.

  As longtime Marriott members, we were dismayed to find a broken and absent toilet paper holder, a non-working light next to the bed, and someone else's used sock under the couch. Our calls to the front desk went unanswered, when we called to ask if there was anyone available to fix the light. The room was not as clean as other Marriott rooms we have used post covid. Advice? Spiff it up or hang it up!
