  Average Hotel

  I needed a room close to the Airport, I choose this one because I am a Bonvoy Member. I was a little disappointed that that I was not upgraded because I am a Lifetime Titanium Elite Member. The room given was definitely in need of upgrading, lighting was very poor. Breakfast was a little shallow in terms of the items provided

  Road Trip

  Stopped here on a pit stop during road trip. Nice and very friendly staff on hand at this location. This room was much better than the Residence Inn across the way I stayed at prior. The bed was amazing to me, I slept like a baby.

  I was happy as a guest

  My objective was getting a decent room to use knowing that during the social distancing time, most amenities would be unavailable. I hadnt stayed at this brand of Marriott, though I have at Fairfield a few times and some of the higher categories. I liked: - the TV tray to be able to eat or work either the tray placed over you or next to you in bed. -eating and drinking with real dishes. Not styrofoam or plastic. -the real coffee pot. -the size of the room -bed was comfortable. Didnt like: -I wish they had a hair dryer Everything else was fine. The gentleman who checked us in and out was very nice and efficient. The room was okay looking for its price range. Because of limitations we skipped the breakfast as it was a grab and go due to the Coronavirus. We just slept late instead. The location is airport-adjacent. Be aware if you plan to stay for other reasons, you will want to make sure youre not too far. Not a lot around but there are restaurants and a grocery store.

  Typical Marriott Hotel/Be Aware of Thermostats in Rooms

  This is a typical Marriott place, you pretty much know what you are going to expect. Checked in and appreciated the super friendly guy at the front desk, down to earth and I could relate with him as he was really chill and professional. I couldn't use the pool or fitness studio due to Covid-19 precautions being taken, breakfast was also shut down. I had stayed here before and remember they had a pretty good breakfast. Overall not bad place, my biggest issue I had was with the thermostats in the room- they are the kind where you move the temperature up or down just one degree and you will have either the ac or heater turning on, it's like you go through 4 seasons in just 4 minutes in your room. I didn't like "battling" with the thermostat the whole time there. Exhaust fan in the bathroom/shower sounded like a jet engine taking off, one can hardly hear themselves think it is so loud. Conveniently next to the airport making for a good location for an early morning flight out. Elite status doesn't seem to get you anything extra here if you are a Bonvoy member. If I needed to stay by the airport again in Tucson, I'd probably pick a different a different hotel.

  Fantastic Place to get away and have some private time with my wife

  We needed time away to enjoy each other and leave the stress of live behind. No pagers, smartphones or constant calls. The room was beautiful, spacious and had plenty of very nice amenities like a full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, stove, dishwasher and a big screen tv. The king size bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well. Outstanding accommodations!
