  Comfortable Extended Stay, Showing its Age

  Generally find this place to be a decently quiet and clean extended stay hotel. The suites are typical of most other Marriotts in this class. Some elements of the rooms are beginning to show their age, namely in the bathrooms where water damaged base boards and eroding caulking in the showers is evident. Found the shower drain to run so slowly that several inches of water accumulates over the course of an average shower...this is definitely an easily preventable maintenance item. Breakfast offerings are average for this class of hotel. For your planning purposes, the airport shuttle only departs this hotel on the bottom of each hour. On a positive note, this hotel does feature the superb Marriott tv product which features an interactive program guide and access to select internet streaming providers, always a welcome amenity.

  Excellent park n fly

  We stayed here the night before an early morning international flight. Booked a king room and a two bedroom suite. Both were fine and spacious. The hotel has a bit of a dated appearance to it but was clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and smart TVs in rooms allow you to access Netflix. Location is within 10 min of the Mall of America. Lots of restaurants and other retail nearby. In the morning they had food set out for breakfast despite the very early hour. Nice touch. The shuttle is hourly so we signed up for a very early one. It is a shuttle bus and the trip to MSP was under 15 minutes. We were able to leave our cars right in the hotel lot. Upon return a call to the hotel to request the shuttle was easy and they were timely in picking us up and dropping back at the hotel. Definitely will stay here again if doing park and fly.

  Load and dirty

  Stayed here for work. Just as I checked in 2 police cars pulled up and started talking to an African American male that had a hotel cart loaded with plastic bags and had been talking loudly on his phone. I got the impression he had been standing in the breakfast area for awhile doing so. I was not offered my Marriott welcome gift. A man in sweat pants and sweat shirt was talking very loudly on his phone behind the reception desk. Turns out he was their shuttle driver. Had a hard time hearing over him what the receptionist was saying. There was large bags of trash in the halls and by the elevator doors. Upon entering my room it seemed clean at first, however the fridge was dirty as was the stove. Under the bathroom sink was so disgusting I just closed it and walked away. The staff had stacked towels, toilet paper, paper towels and toiletries a foot deep on the table (which wasn't wiped off). So I had to find room for it all and put it away. There was door slamming all night as well as horrible highway noise. Housekeeping started vacuuming at 8:30am speaking Spanish loadly the whole time they were working. Which is probably why the room was dirty and had items from someone else in it still, there were sweat marks on the kitchen chairs. Breakfast was as others have said. Disgusting, I wouldn't let my dog eat the microwaved omletes or dry sausages, fresh fruit was apples nothing else. My Marriott messages for the chat went to someone's private inbox so I never got a response, had to call the front desk for everything. My advice, if you have to stay somewhere close, stay at Springhill suites nextdoor. It's much nicer and cleaner.

  A few bumps...but professional front desk

  Checked in to the TownePlace Suites this past weekend and was informed the television cable service was not working. My LT Titanium membership was acknowledged and front desk attendant Asia was proactive in placing me next door at sister property Springhill Suites. Asia was courteous and professional to the challenges the hotel was placing guests into. Stuff happens...but I was impressed how she handled it.

  Happy & clean place for extended stay!!

  Best extended stay place in Eagan, its very well maintained, clean and has great staff. Rooms are well appointed and were recently renovated. They have a great shuttle service that includes airport pickup and drop off. Enjoyed my stay here and will always come back .
