  Blood on Sheets at Check-In

  After checking in, went to our bedroom (2 queens). I checked the bedding / pillow cases as I always do for cleanliness. Pulled open the bedspread, then the sheets and noticed dried, but fresh blood in two locations on the top sheet (see attached photos.) My wife notified front desk staff who immediately dispatched house keeping. House keeping was very apologetic and changed the bedding on both beds. Additionally, the toilet didn't work properly in the room - tank would not fill up after flushing. We had to manually reach in tank and tap plunger down to get toilet to flush. The hotel was otherwise clean. I responded to the survey regarding my stay, cited the above and received an email with an apology. The whole thing just creeped me out after viewing the news reports on sheets not always being changed when gusts leave a hotel (not suggesting our sheets weren't changed, simply sharing there was blood on them when we checked in.

  Safe Harbor

  During a recent plumbing emergency at our home, my wife and I with our two retired racing greyhounds found ourselves looking for short-term housing that was pet friendly. Lack of being able to take a shower or flush a toilet will do that! The hotel was accommodating and provided our home away from home for two nights. Staff was welcoming to us and our furry family members. We were all happy and the dogs relaxed as we waited out the repair. We were thankful for the opportunity to weather our plumbing storm in this safe harbor. Thanks to all!

  I recently spent 1 week at this Townplace hotel. There is nothing bad that I can say. The room was clean with plenty of room. The staff was very willing to help with reviews and suggestions of places to eat and visit. I would definately stay at this hotel again and recommend this hotel to all.

  Great recommendations and a comfortable stay!

  I stay at TownePlace all the time. Its truly a home away from home. The hotel looks great and is always immaculately clean. The staff is so friendly and welcoming as well! I stay at many hotels across the country and this is by far one of my favorites. The staff addresses me by name and always have great restaurant suggestions. HIghly recommend!!

  Love this Louisville hotel!

  TownePlace Suites Louisville Northeast is a great property! Exceptionally clean, professional, yet friendly staff, and very comfortable bed! Better than many 4 star hotels in which I've stayed. Will definitely keep this on my preferred list!
