  Overnight Getaway

  Lets start with me and my boyfriend calling several hotels in the vicinity after decided to driving to LA from Palm Springs for a date night that ran late. I called four different hotels all in this area and for one night checking in at 1AM was $400.00 a night! Those prices are ridiculous. I finally stumbled upon Towneplace Suites and spoke with Tatyana, and booked immediately. The room was spacious, clean and the area is quiet, which is surprising because their is a train right outside next to it and I didn't even hear it. Since it was a last minute stay we forgot pretty much all of out toiletries and Tatyana once again came to the rescue and supplied me with toothpaste and a toothbrush. ALL IN ALL IT WAS A GREAT NIGHT! Please, please, please send a special thanks to Tatyana at the front desk she is amazing, nice, informational and ultimately a major asset you your team!   Excellent accommodations at reasonable rate

  No surprises, as expected. Full kitchen (full-size refrigerator, four-burner stove, etc.) The parking fee, which is clearly stated on their website, is not waivable. As commented on by others, it is high, given the location (suburban location, plenty of free parking nearby). Factoring in the cost of parking, the overall rate is still reasonable, given the high quality of the property.

  Great rooms and good hotel, but probably best for business stay and not leisure/family

  Stayed with family during the Christmas of Dec 2019 (24th Dec to 26th Dec). Hotel is close to the airport, but far from any sight seeing activities you may be planning in the city. Most attractions such as Disneyland, Hollywood sign, LA Bus Tour, Universal Studios are more than 20 miles from this place. I knew this when I booked it so no regrets on that for me, but if you are planning to take any tours which offer hotel pick-ups, note that most of them don't offer pick-up service in this area. About the stay, the rooms were sparking clean, spacious and the service was good as well. We had trouble connecting our amazon fire tv stick to the TV but the house keeping was prompt in helping and the person who came to assist was knowledgeable enough to quickly resolve the issue. Breakfast was good as well, standard Marriott Residence Inn / Towneplace stuff so nothing to complain about. Note that this hotel has a parking fee for overnight parking!

  Great room at a great price

  I will begin we arrived 3 hours early to the hotel and decided to see if they could check us in. Kevin nicely greeted us and was able to get us a room. The room is typical Towne Place suites, with kitchen, nice bed and amenities. The hotel caters too LAX folks and local businesses. The free breakfast was the normal Marriott and plentiful. I like the Marriott go green concept as the shower had refill soaps not the little bottle type. Kudos to the hotel for thats! The only negative was after taking a shower one of our batch towels smelled heavily like bleach. We asked the maid for a new towel and she gave us one. I guess better to be too clean then too dirty. Will stay again if in the Manhattan Beach area.

  Pass on this one

  Gross. No welcome gift (platinum members), snotty check in ladies, and a dirty room. Dirty bathroom, dirty dishes in the cabinets, and dirty couch. I used to love this hotel. The bunk bed suite is perfect for families. But, looking for a clean place during the pandemic? Not here. And also, even if you call to confirm, the pool could still be closed for deep cleaning when you arrive so if youre like us and got the kids excited and bought pool balls, prepare for disappointment.
