  Top Notch Staff and Our Home Away From Home in a Trying Time

  We were displaced from our home for approximately 2 weeks and spent the first week at the TownPlace Suites. The staff was wonderful, going out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The night manager was particularly helpful, not only in providing us extra towels, but also checking in to see how things were progressing at our house. We had a two-bedroom unit in building A (same as the front desk) with a kitchen. It was prefect for our needs. We would have stayed a second week (instead of switching hotels), but with four of us, and only two beds, it wasn't ideal for sleeping. That said, the beds are really comfortable and it is great to have a kitchen and living room in addition to the bedrooms.The WiFi was also strong and the TV easily let you log into Amazon, Netflix, or other streaming services. Overall, I hope never to have to stay in a hotel for a long period of time because of a issue at the house, but I would not hesitate to recommend this TownPlace to family who visit from out of town.

  Lovely stay!!

  The staff is beyond friendly and a pleasure to deal with. As a Gold member, they also gave me an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite. Place was very clean. Loved the outdoor patio and my daughter the evening cookies. Will definitely be back.

  It's just okay and convenient

  Traveling with 2 kids and a baby, I needed a room with a kitchenette. I booked the 2 bedroom 1 bathroom and it was spacious and accommodating. The bathroom needed better cleaning, of which I complained and they sent someone over to clean. Any issues we had were resolved immediately. It's cozy and close to a lot of stores and restaurants. I personally didnt care for the free breakfast, we ended up going to IHOP one day. But, overall it was cozy and convenient. It was difficult to sleep...the bed was not all that comfortable and coupled with the traffic noise...it was loud. However, I noticed on Friday and Saturday the noise was not as bad.

  Outstanding Management!

  We were recently in Gaithersburg for a surgery and stayed at TownePlace Suites. Our stay needed to be extended and we also needed more time in our room as my husband recovered. The entire staff from John Eliot, the manager, to Maria, his front desk person, to the cleaning staff were outstanding in the way they accommodated us with our schedule and schedule changes. We really appreciated the personal attention we received from them and the warmth and understanding on a personal level was impressive as well!

  It was ok

  Ok, so we loved the idea of being able to stay someplace that had 2 bedrooms and shared common space for dining area and living room. We had to call for maintenance a few times but on each call, they were prompt on fixing the problems. Of all things, we had issues with the TVs... Outside of these issues, it was a comfortable stay.
