  Nice short stay

  I was here for two nights on a trip to visit colleges with my son. We found the property to be very clean and seemed pretty new. Staff were all helpful and friendly with recommendations on restaurants, etc. I'd recommend this location for sure.

  Great location, great space

  We stayed one night on our drive home. We reserved a one bedroom and it was very spacious, with a full kitchen, including dishwasher. Most everything appeared up to date. The pull out sofas and ottomans, however, had fraying upholstery. Staff were very responsive when the TV in the living room area wasn't working. It was evening and a front desk person came and worked on it for about 20 minutes, saying it was frustrating because the TVs were new. They couldn't switch out the TV, so all we could do is move to another room. That is when we discovered the badly stained mattress in the pull out, however, we were able to easily switch it with our previous room, which had a pull out mattress that looked new. Staff were very attentive and very apologetic about the issues. The pool area was pleasant and clean. The water was a little chilly. Enjoyable for kids, but not as much for adults to swim. Breakfast offered a wide variety of items and the area was very clean and well kept. There was a very large, pleasant area for eating. There are many restaurants around this area, even within walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and feel it was a good value.

  Great Staff Great Hotel

  Excellent hotel! If I could give it 10 stars I would. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. The hotel staff could not have been more accommodating. The towels were fluffy, the room large and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The premium toiletries they provided were appreciated. There were large flatscreen TVs in the living room and bedroom areas with premium stations to choose from at no extra charge. We visited the area to go skiing in nearby Pennsylvania but having stayed at this TownePlace suites in the past and being very impressed we didnt even try to book a hotel closer to the ski resort. The hotel provided everything we needed for a comfortable five night stay. We were originally scheduled to stay only four nights but a forecasted ice storm prevented us from driving home the day we planned. Even though our room was booked for a different guest the following night, the front staff did some juggling for us and allowed us to stay in our suite an additional night and get home safely. Kassidy the front desk attendant who helped us with our original booking and our additional night was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Also a special shout out to Shariy who said if you dont see what you want just ask me and Ill find it and then went out of her way to find us some thing we asked for breakfast each morning. Just offhandedly she even mentioned how much she liked her job (which is such an uplifting thing to hear these days). We highly recommend this hotel for the reasons above and also its close proximity to great restaurants and hiking around Frederick. Thank you and we will plan to make this our go-to hotel for annual getaways as there is so much to do in this area anytime of year.

  It's OK!

  Stayed here two nights with my husband and adult daughter for a quick trip to visit the area. Check-in was smooth. Our one bedroom room was a great size. You will need to ask for extra towels. Our room was clean. The furniture definitely needs updated. The mattress on the pull out sofa was extremely worn out and very uncomfortable. We probably should have notified someone that this matress was worse than a flat tire! The king size mattress is very firm. The pillows were flat and horrible! Having the fan on will help drown out noise, like hearing every single time someone flushes their toilet. We only ate breakfast one day. They offered take out style boxes. The selection was great but waiting in a line was very time consuming. Staff was very friendly and professional.

  Great Experience, wonderful staff

  My family travelled with me when they find out about that their pool was open with limited capacity and CDC guidelines. Truthfully I was little worried to take them with me to the work trip as they have been at home since March due to COVID-19. But now I am glad they came as the hotel was spotless, everyone had masks and exceptionally careful about social distancing. Still managed to offer a great short break. Their pool is a salt pool, allowing only limited families at one point. They cleaning the pool in-between. They are still offering breakfast that is prepared to order and with decent selection. Kassidy who helped us this morning was kind, efficient as well as very accommodating towards my kids endless questions. When we are in the area we would definitely like to visit this hotel again.
