  Pet surcharge

  We stayed here as it is pet friendly. I understand there may be surcharges for pets. For paying an extra $75 for one dog you would think they would be able to pay someone to empty the poop can. It was very nice otherwise.

  Clean room, pet friendly, and convenient to 95.

  Requested a room on the first level with our dog. Room was clean, quiet, with a small kitchenette. I also had a bag of disinfectant with me to wipe just to make sure things are OK in a covid world. Had a hot breakfast sandwich in a plastic wrapper that we ate in our room in the morning. Staff was friendly. Free parking in a flat lot of "Marriott row" hotels. Used our Marriott points for the room and dog fee.

  Dirty

  Not a pleasant stay. Frying pan had gunk on it. Coffee pot was dirty, coffee maker was dirty and didn't work -- water spilled all over the place. Stove had gunk on it. Pots they give you to cook with have handles that get super hot so you burn yourself. The dials are worn off so no idea which was the high, medium, low on the stove. Pull out was terribly uncomfortable and stained with what looked like pee. Sheets weren't left in the room and when I called for them I didn't get one that covered the sides. The door and closet were set up in such a way that we would constantly bang into the closet....there was a hole there so other people clearly had the same problem. We were only left 3 towels for 4 people. I called the hotel staff to let them know about the issues and they promised to refund the points I used and then never did it.

  The Absolute Worst

  The desk clerk on check-in was the only good thing about this establishment. I am a Titanium Elite but no upgrades even though I confirmed check-in 2 days ahead. The first room I was given had a toilet that didnt flush and dirty kitchen counters. The second room I was told to move to was passable, but there were literally multiple bags of garbage left in the hallways to navigate around. They were still there the next day when I checked out. All in all I would NOT recommend the Towne Place Suites Florence!

  Good and bad

  The room wasnt clean at all the little girl at the front desk was doing everything she could to make it a great stay for me and my family so shout out to Brenna and with who ever cleans the rooms do better.
