  MY PLACE!

  Let's talk about Tasha. Hands down, best front desk agent ever! She is so nice, and helped with everything. The hotel itself is really nice, and everybody was wearing masks. Love this place so much and will definitely be back.

  Disappointed in the sanitation

  Im very concerned about this high traffic location. Me and my family feel as if we have been sleeping in a unsanitary room. First to start the floor was dirty.. not a big deal for us , just swept the floor and passed a makeshift mop. Second the shower had hair in the tub ...ok thats gross but luckily we brought bleach for our clothes so no biggie disinfected ourselves. But when you hear your kid says, look mom the lamp has a mustache , but its really someones glued eyelashes is where the line is drawn. We have brought it up to the manager on duty but yes Im sure you can guess there still right there wile management has had no sense of urgency to response ,accommodate ,sanitize ,remove or nothing actually when I brought it up to the manager he said nothing. My wife went to speak again because I did feel unheard and disrespected on other comments he was making every time I passed by and he informed her that he had the mind to tell the security officer on duty to have me removed..... wow, i am just lost how Im the problem. I dont feel like the CDC or the Marriott standards have been met for my families stay and if we have been exposed due to the lack of sanitization we will not know until we are already out of this room........ That alone makes me furious and I am trying to be as professional as possible even though we still have not had any acknowledgment or accommodations presented . Considering that I feel belittled my main concern is my familys health and well-being as the world is taking extreme measures to stay COVID-19 Free.

  Location, eh! Smell inside YUCK!

  Homeless sleeping across the street. At the edge of the remodeled downtown. Sketchy feeling outside. Security is heavy at the hotel. Overall rooms are huge, clean and well kept. But... the smell. Exciting the elevator at floor 6 was almost knocked over. Not sewer, not bleach, not a cleaner of any kind I have ever smelled. Think heavy industrial adhesive and eye watering teen boy gym smell. It doesnt escape. Attempted to call front desk no less than 4 times from room. No luck. Ended up going down to not find anyone. Gave up and went to 7eleven and got air freshners. Helped in the room but walking to the elevator watch out. Rooms are used by locals to party, my neighbor was bouncing a basketball and bumping music with no less than 10 people inside until after 11. Luckily I was in and out but when I tried to call down guess what? No answer. Finally about 1 they passed out or left. Covid cancelled maid service and they dont answer the phone. 3rd day needed towels. Again called front desk 5 times. Went down and they sent someone up with towels.

  Poor Front Desk Staff

  Disability prejudice. No valet parking. I have problems walking more than very short distances. Good luck finding a close place to park in a shady part of Downtown Dallas at night. The website clearly stated $30 a night for valet parking, and that self-parking wasn't an option. I get there, and this super rude young guy with blonde hair and glasses arrogantly tells me that I must go park my car myself. He said it with SUCH derision, as if I was lazy. This was during the power outages in Dallas; the city was chaotic and every hotel was full. I literally am disabled and cannot walk far distances. I asked 4 times if there was ANY way I could pay ANY price to have valet parking. I specifically sought a hotel with this service. The guy literally started ignoring me about my disability request. Thankfully, Booking.com overbooked the place that night (Mon Feb 15 2021), and I found a hotel that was willing to accommodate my medical needs. Never ever ever will choose this hotel for myself or anyone. Ever.

  New Hotel

  Very disappointed in their hotel. We are Marriott reward members and my husband and I didnt realize it was such a low class hotel. Here are a few of the issues. 1. Their so-called breakfast is ludicrous. Your choices are low-fat yogurt, a banana muffin and juice. This has to be the worst continental breakfast Ive ever seen at a Marriott. COVID safety should not effect what they can offer for breakfast 2. Their towels are thin, scratchy and small. Might as well have stayed at a Motel 6. 3. The top sheet and bedspread barely cover the mattress. When you turn over, you will lose your covers. 4. No carpeting or even an area rug on the floor.
