  Like a second home!

  My wife and I stayed here for two months, courtesy of our homeowner's insurance, while our local home was undergoing a major restoration and mold remediation due to water damage. Our insurance company offered us an apartment, but we're glad we opted to stay here instead because of the comfort and amenities. Our suite had a separate bedroom, bathroom, and sitting room with kitchen and, for the most part it was like being at home. The folks at the front desk got to know us, and always had a cookie or two waiting when I came home from work each night. It was great to get up in the morning and take a short walk down the hall to the breakfast room, where I had a better hot breakfast than I usually made for myself at home. (I ended up leaving a nice tip for the attendant at the end of our stay, as she was always there and chipper no matter how early it was.) It was no fun to be forced from our home for an extended period, but our stay here helped reduce the stress and inconvenience.

  Very clean and comfortable

  We stayed in a nice spacious suite. The kitchenette is fully stocked with dishes and pots and pans and a dishwasher. This was handy since we did not want to go out to eat. There is a handy little market in the lobby for drinks, foodstuffs and essentials. Friendly staff. It is right off the highway, also, but away from the noise.

  Subpar for a Marriott

  I stayed two nights and overall it was okay but there were several smaller things that were disappointing. This was one of the most uncomfortable beds I think I've ever slept on in a hotel, ever. Very stiff, like a board. When I went to wash a load of laundry, the machines looked like they'd been through a war. The agitator cap on the washer wouldn't stay on and ended up mixed in with my clothes, and one or two of the machines were completely out of order. The choices for breakfast were disappointing--this seems to be the case everywhere in these Covid times, but I wish Marriott could do better. The yogurt and granola bars are fine, but the muffins are those cheap pre-packaged ones. The only other possibilities were juice and coffee; nothing hot to eat. One thing I usually like about Marriott hotels is that at least the TV setup provides the TV guide option, but not at this Towneplace Suites. Nope, here you have to surf through all the channels to figure out what's on. I know it sounds petty, but I really appreciate this when it's offered. On the plus side, everything in the room worked and I couldn't hear neighboring rooms very much.

  Very disappointing. Expected more from a Marriott property. Will not return!

  My family and I stayed in a very small 2 bedroom suite this past weekend. I was shocked to see that the building looked very run down. Landscaping is nasty and several items are in need of repair. The furniture in the room was very uncomfortable. The bathtub did not drain well and the paint on the bathroom ceiling was peeling off. But the absolute worst part were the mattresses! They are hard as a ROCK! My back and neck are still recovering. The kitchen is very tiny. Thankfully, we didn't do any cooking and ate out at local restaurants. Blue Canyon is a MUST, by the way! I don't normally take the time to write a review on hotels, but I felt very misled by the reviews I read for this property and felt that I owed it to others to give an honest review. I will say that the staff was very friendly and helpful. But, unfortunately, that did not make up for our awful experience at this hotel. We will not return.

  Everything we needed

  We found our room to be very clean, with the exception of some white hair on the floor, but overall it was great. All of the staff that we encountered were so kind and helpful. We came to hike in the Cuyahoga state park area and this was the perfect place to settle when we returned. There are many restaurants and stores nearby as well.
